Well rolled and fresh but dry and didn't include the sauce in the take out order. Also pretty expensive. I might try it again. The crunch roll didn't have any toppings or sauce but the sexy roll was good.

Watch out for the false advertisement on their menu.... very tricky how they worded their boat special and they argue and very defensive you point out their mistakes they think they're always right.....I will never eat there again.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in SLO! I love to come here on my own and enjoy a few small dishes. The miso soup is absolutely spectacular; it's always a treat to have a simple dish made super well. I'm also a big fan of getting the California roll (or hand roll), the edamame, and the spam musubi. I generally order some combination of those three, but I always get miso soup and a cup of tea. The staff are super friendly and the food comes out quickly.
This is one of our favorite places to eat in SLO.
The staff is always friendly and smiling, the restaurant is very clean, and the food is great.
Some of our favorites are the baked salmon roll, the dynamite roll, the dynamite appetizer, and the spider roll. We also love the seaweed salad.
Food is excellent. I use an electric wheelchair and the staff are very helpful with seating.
A bit off the grid but still very good food. Kind friendly service and reasonable pricing.
Yanagi is reasonably priced and very good quality and the service is fantastic. This is the go-to place for locals who don’t want to break the bank. Goshi is the next step up and is more expensive but slightly better quality.
The sushi bar was not being used. Sushi chefs were cold and distant. No response when greeted. Sashimi was fair. It was a bit sad for a birthday dinner.

The best one
Incredible staff, lovely food. Our orders came super fast, the fish was beautiful. There are a whole lot of 'fancy' rolls as well as your more common Japanese dishes. Something for everyone.
Service was poor, with only 2 tables with customers we had to wait. Ordered Japanese ceviche, it was awful, salmon from the belly part, not sushi grade, and had some bones???
Waitress brought a sparkling water, no glass was provided. Bad experience

Had a great time having dinner with the family there! The customer was really great considering we had many littles with us and they were very sweet in helping us like getting forks or kids chopsticks, etc. Food was great! The kids loved the udon and shared gyoza. We also had a salmon and chicken teriyaki dinner combo that was very filling and delicious! Great food for family!
