The service was as basic as possible. The food wa also very average. Huge portions that were almost unappetizing.

It was a first time visit and a date night. Our server was great and walked us through the menu being our first time. One Food runner for the restaurant rushed the runner. The food felt tossed on the table and the experience of the food hitting the table was weird. Ordered the Regina Margarita pizza which was soggy and bland. The pasta noddles were more than al dente, garlic flavor was prominent in dish. Street parking is hard since the area is under construction. Nearby there is a retail and restaurant parking structure available with a Short walk. Food quality was a 3/5 starts. Price solid 4/5. Service from point of contact with host to departure with our server was a 3/5. I wouldn't necessarily make my way to dine here again.

This was a really bad experience. My family has been here before and food was great. This time it tasted like it had been frozen and reheated. It came out way too quickly. Pricing would be reasonable if the food was good, but everything tasted old. We paid extra for the fresh pasta too. Anyway, we definitely won't return to this location. There are too many other great options in the vicinity.

Always love their menu - many options to select from - and they are one of few local Italian places with an outstanding Italian white wine selection. We had a delightful dinner and will return

OpenTable confirmed my appointment but failed to let me know that they were closed that day. Very upset that I showed up to a sign on the door stating they're closed.

Lasagna was great, Risotto terribly undercooked, the substitute penne pasta was also undercooked. Management graciously comped the meal and did what they could. Apparently, the kitchen staff was overwhelmed and in a hurry.

Tried to get a table for 2 at like 6:30 pm on a Monday night, took our # and said it would be a 30 -40 minute wait, there was empty tables and the bar was too but the hostess said the wait to sit at the bar is the same. Weird. Never got a text back for a table. After reading a few reviews seems like the hostess is not very good at her job. We felt so dismissed.

The food and service were good and the prices were pretty decent. The atmosphere is none to exist though. It feels like a business area no thrills restaurant. A good spot to grab a bite for sure.

Parking: Free parking on the street but difficult to find. A free 2 hour garage but about 3 minutes away

Went here for a dinner with some friends and accommodated our group of 8 quickly for a Saturday night. Food was great and the drinks even better. Be prepared to park in the parking structure as there is almost never parking out front.

Dietary restrictions: My friend is celiac and they accommodated which is great!

Dietary restrictions: Pretty good gluten-free options.

Parking: Pleanty of green zone street parking does nothing for someone who would like to go into a restaurant for a meal.

Nicole was an amazing server, attentive, charming and made great recommendations.
Typically I go to the Encinitas location but I’ll definitely be coming back to San Marcos!

Authentic Italian food. Best woodfire pizza! They import the double zero flour directly from Italy and you can tell! Their pizzas have names and ordered Martina and Guiseppe! Highly recommend them! We also love the fresh pasta! We had the pappardelle bolognese, fettuccine carbonara, and seafood linguine. For appetizers: artichoke, burrata caprese, beet salad. My wife said, “It was delish!” 😆 Also finished off with tiramisu and affogato. We also Love ❤️ our Italian server, Alejandra, who made sure our visit was perfect. N she was very warm & welcoming and made some great recommendations! Dario the general manager is doing a great job of making sure that we were taken care of and was very accommodating. Thank you for the best pizza ever Buona Forchetta! You make San Marcos a better place. We are so blessed to have you here!!!! Great place to celebrate a family dinner or birthday!

Parking: Tons of free parking in the multi-level parking lot. The best part is that it's FREE!

Kid-friendliness: They have kid menus and kid-sized portions. They made sure my 10-year-old daughter got what she wanted!

Let's see.. staff seemed to have attitude, food was mediocre, beer was flat, expensive ($30 for rather small pasta dish), rude customers but that's not their fault. Overall meh
