I thought this would be just another chicken place but I was dead wrong. The taste in this this chicken is just too damn good. I'm going to be coming here until I get sick of it. You can't beat the price, you get a lot food and flavor for the same 15dlls you pay anywhere else

This place really sucks! I've been coming here for years, I started back when they 1st opened and it was really good. And stopped coming here for the last 5 years because of the pandemic. They just got so bad with their serving sizes and the quality of the cook and seasoning...forget about the price increases. But this year I've actually come a few times because I work right down the street and man it just keeps getting worse in here! The meat is super dry! The servings are very small! And they stopped seasoning the meat!? I got the four piece chicken-only meal today and it was $13 and this is what I got, overcooked dry meat and, I don't even know where they find these pieces of chicken, but they are the smallest you can serve...seriously! THEN they are now cutting them in half...yea...seriously. Overpriced, overcooked, no flavor, and poor service (they totally have an attitude and all they do is serve you from a counter!). I'm sorry Compadres, I'm done with you!

Some of the best chicken I've ever had...especially because it's grilled...using mequite charcoal! Hank Hill would be hugely disappointed. I had the 4 piece meal. The skin is nice and crispy (the best part). Even the white meat is juicy (but not as juicy as the dark meat). If you like El Pollo Loco, you'll LOVE this place. I'd argue it's better than El Pollo Loco. The red spicy salsa is no joke! So many phoned in orders. Lots of customer coming in and out (both to-go and dine-in). You know it's legit when its been open since 1999 and w all the customers coming in spoke Spanish. I remember always seeing this place when I was a teenager and I cant believe it wasn't until now I finally tried it. Time to make up for lost time.

The Chicken is not good anymore, is very dry and no flavor, and very expensive, I know is a little far away, but there is one in San Diego it call Joses pollos, they are so delicious and good flavor! And cheaper! This one is so delicious 🤤 comprades chicken 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼

Compadres Chicken is an absolute gem! My coworker and I go there on our lunch break all the time, and we’re totally hooked on their chicken quesadillas. Hands down, the best chicken I’ve ever had—the flavor is incredible, and it’s always so juicy and tender.
The salsas pack a punch, too! Even the mild salsa brings some serious heat (my nose is always running!), but honestly, it’s so worth it. The spice just adds to the whole experience.
