I recently visited this restaurant with high hopes, especially looking forward to trying their Indian dishes. As someone who grew up with authentic Indian flavors, I was excited—but unfortunately, the food didn’t quite meet expectations.
The biryani tasted more like chicken gravy mixed into rice, lacking the distinct spices and aroma that make biryani so special. The butter chicken was especially disappointing—it was far from what I’ve known butter chicken to be, and sadly, I couldn’t finish it. As an Indian, I really expected more authenticity in the preparation and taste.
The garlic naan also missed the mark—it seemed like plain naan with just a sprinkle of garlic powder on top, without the fresh garlic or buttery texture you’d expect.
I appreciate the effort, and I know Indian cuisine is complex, but there’s definitely room for improvement in both flavor and authenticity. I hope the kitchen considers refining their recipes to better reflect the rich traditions of Indian cooking.
Good food !!!
Amazing food. Baby eggplant a must try
Best food and best service in the town
We had a good experience at this place. The food was delicious. Best Indian food in San Marcos area.
Food was excellent very clean environment service was awesome
My favorite Indian restaurant!
The food is good, the ambience is nice and the restaurant is clean but the service sucks! There is man who is often there, not the owner, he make sure you know that he’s annoyed if you go there after 7:30 PM. He tries everything to talk you out of eating there and if you decide to still eat there, he will give you attitude. We told him that they closed at 8:30 (although on the door it says 10 PM) and we’re here an hour before. Why do you act like it’s late? He said. “ I have a family And I would like to go home to them too”. Yes, I agree, but we had an hour to eat and they close d at 8:30. He os super rude. The only reason we wouldn’t go there again is because of him. I had friends that experienced the same thing and they have stopped going as well.
The employees were incredible. The owner was there on site. The food was incredible tandoori like you’ve never had. I had the chicken with the almond and cashews. Best Indian dish I’ve ever had in my life.
Not good. Ordered take out. It is easy to screw a take out customer so they did. You’re not going to check if the order is right when you pick it up.
Ordered garlic naan and got regular. The tikki sauce was not good. Watered down instead of creamy. The chicken was chewy and old. And how will they make this right? They won’t. I’m going somewhere else. $20+ dollars and not worth it.

I absolutely love Curry & More! I shared the coconut chicken and chicken Tikka masala with my S/O and it was more than enough for the two of us! They have a consistently excellent flavor, and the service was great as always. You should also try their mango lassi. It's a yogurt drink that is to die for! I would recommend it to anyone!

This is one of my favorite restaurants in North County. The food is always good. The garlic naan is especially tasty. I highly recommend this place.
