My family and I absolutely LOVE Del Taco. We lived near this one for 4 years and we went as a family for dinner every Tuesday for the entire time we lived there. Then we had to move because my dad is in the military. My four siblings and I have so many childhood memories at that specific Del Taco. And today, after 5 years and two moves, we have come back to California on vacation and we got to visit our favorite Del Taco again. It was magical for our family. Everything was nearly identical to how it used to be back in 2019 when we last were here. We all were so excited. We love Del Taco and are so sad there are none in the East Coast where we have lived the past few years and where we will live still when we move to the New England area. Thank you Del Taco for giving us so many wonderful family memories and remaining the same so we could once again enjoy the simpleness of an affordable and memorable family dinner. On behalf of my entire family we could not have been more satisfied with our experience and recommend Del Taco (specifically this one in San Marcos, as we are partial to it) to all.P. S. Please put a Del Taco close to Newport, Rhode Island

I love del taco but man this location is so inconsistent. The drive thru worker was very friendly tonight though. Prices have definitely gone up, costs me $24 for food for two people. Today I ordered three tacos and the worker asked if I wanted sour cream for my three del tacos. I said sure but he didn’t tell me it was extra .60 each taco. Found out after I already paid. Then I got home and there was NO sour cream on the tacos ? so just got over charged $1.00+ for literally no reason at all.

Today when I pick up your order at Del Taco at 736 Rancho Santa Fe Rd. at approximately 8:55 pm, a Del Taco employee was very rude to me, disrespectful and threw a bag of food at the end. He refused to give his name, and after several attempts I tried, he called himself Paul! I have never seen a more disgusting attitude towards customers anywhere. Such unprofessional staff should not work at Del Taco This issue should be taken under the control of management and studied, since such treatment of restaurant customers is simply unacceptable.
The Employees who work here are ALWAYS so nice and professional. We drive here for the excellent service and good vibes. It's easy to get good fast food quickly and they always get our order right. When a late night taco craving hits, you can't miss with this particular Del Taco location. It is the best fast food Mexican food choice in this whole San Marcos/Vista/Carlsbad/Oceanside area.

Wanted to try the Burria ramen. Came in. Stood at the cash register for 15 minutes. No one came to get my order. Employees going back and forth saying they will be right with me. No one came. Went to Taco Bell. If you have someone waiting at the register to get food... take their order. Disappointing place terrible service.

Big fan of Del Taco and specifically this location. The service is always great and the line went fast today. Inside is always clean and the ambiance is fantastic. If you're a Del Taco fan this location is amazing and everyone who works here is super friendly, accurate, and fast.
