First impressions are everything. As I walked in I found the decor and atmosphere of the place both inviting and charming. I informed the guys behind the counter that this was my first time and they were patient and helpful as I made my decisions.

The plate of three meats with two dudes was a great option for a first time taste test. The ribs were spot on hour, the chicken moist and tender, and the Polish sausage tasty as expected. The BBQ baked beans were scrumptious and nice and thick. The fact they didn’t water them down to stretch them further was a huge plus. Customers notice that trick and we don’t like it. Thank you Dickey’s for respecting your customers. The potato salad was packed with flavor. Nobody makes as good a potato salad as my mama, but Dickey’s came real close. Kudos on that.

The rabies all had a roll of paper towels. No puny napkins. That spoke volumes in confidence. KFC ain’t the only finger licking place in town!!!

The new management here is super nice. The owner always remembers who you are and everyone who works there is so friendly. Even my six year old asks to go there for lunch because it’s such a nice environment and he loves that they are so kind to him. Food is always delicious!

We enjoyed the pulled pork, brisket, mac & cheese, and especially baked potatoes were all packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. 😋
The staff was amazing, and Mesh is the BEST—spreading good vibes and good food all around! 🙌✨

no nonsense

The food here is flat-out terrible and nowhere near worth the price. The BBQ tastes cheap, reheated, and mass-produced—like something that came out of a microwave instead of a smoker. The meat is fatty, dry, and bland, the sides are flavorless, and the portions are small for what they charge.

For the kind of money they ask, you’d expect at least decent BBQ. Instead, you get low-quality food that feels like it was thrown together with the cheapest ingredients possible. It’s an expensive disappointment, and I left feeling ripped off.

Save your money—this place is not worth it.

New management really turned the place around. They are very friendly and in the store to make sure things go smoothly which you rarely see. The service was fast they honos corporate promotions, food was hot and was excellent.

Fall off the bone ribs, juicy pulled pork, delicious brisket. It's worth the 30 minute trip to come. One day I hope corporate brings back the creamed spinach.

excellent brisket, little smokey flavor, slightly marbled, good pink smoke like, plastic fork tender with a good bite, decent bark

sauces were delicious paired well with the meat

original was a light medium pour, smokey with a little twang at the end

Picked up BBQ here today. Got some turkey, chicken, and pulled pork. Haven't tried the pork yet. But the poultry was delicious and moist. Poultry is very difficult to get right on a pitt. And they did it right. I am UTTERLY AMAZED at the smoke profile that was achieved. They use a pellet smoker there and getting a rich smoke profile is also difficult with that. They got it right across the board.

When I don't feel like doing it myself, this is where I am going to get it.

Food Was Great! Huge improvement with the new Management.
Everything was Delish! The food was just like (maybe better) than the old Dickey's in Dallas. We shared a brisket sandwich and 3-meat platter. They even have new $12 items to attract college students. I was skeptical after reading the reviews but everything is new since last Fall. The manager was super friendly and told us how the new owner is committed to the quality that Dickey's customers expect. We will definitely be back!
