Nice selection of beer styles for a small brewery. Good venue to hang out and enjoy a refreshing brew. Enjoyed the Triple Witches Tripel and the Portal Porter - make sure to try them and the Whodunit Double IPA.

Cool off-the-beaten-path place (Melrose and Diamond St in San Marcos) with fantastic micro-brews. Frank (owner) is a meister at brewing and it shows - creative and classic flavors abound. The porters, malts and IPAs all deserve a try - and don't miss the hazy and the tripel!! He even does "spa water (seltzer) which is fantastic. Beer tenders are friendly and helpful and well informed - check the calendar on the website for weekly food vendors and activities - lots of walk and bike groups meet here during the week for exercise and libations afterwards!

Such a great local spot! Great beer options (including a sour), and dog friendly. They have food trucks on Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday and Trivia on Wednesday night. The owners are super easy going and friendly. Definitely check this spot out!

I love Double Peak Brewing Co. We celebrated my husband's 50th birthday here with some close friends, and Lucinda was incredible to work with. She made it super chill and effortless, and even met me an hour early to help put up some decorations. Above and beyond!Of course this place is awesome to pop in for a pint or three, but I want to share my experience with a birthday gathering. We were able to put up some decorations throughout the bar, and got the big room in the back reserved that has a HUGE big screen tv, video game console, darts, pool table and giant Jenga. Lucinda made it easy to use a "ticket system" to give our guests their first couple drinks on us, and we used the same ticket system for the amazing Local Spot ladies who made delicious tacos and bacon wrapped hot dogsIf anyone is looking for a laid back place to celebrate, check them out.Thank you Double Peak Brewing Co for the wonderful hospitality. Will the bartender was warm + friendly with everyone :) My husband had such a memorable birthday and we appreciate you all so much
