Kotija Jr. has some wonderful food and have been wonderful people who assisted us.
In the last 6 months, the food has declined, while the prices have skyrocketed.
Today, I purchased green chile burritos and the portions were less than half that we would have expected in early 2025.
I lay no blame on them, I'm happy to support their business. But the weak burrito I purchased, that is more than 40% more cost, is problematic.
Even with these low scores, we will continue to support their team. But wanted people to know what to expect.

Got the number 12. Should've went somewhere else. I love authentic food. The meat was literally burnt and crispy and oddly chewy. Side note, flies in my face the whole time I'm trying to eat with no air conditioning or fan in the dining area. Very warm and stale environment.

Gave me carrots and onions in my burrito when I asked for pico. Food isn't that great lourdes is better.

Kotija used to be good food for a good price. Now, the sizes of everything have shrunk, and the prices have gone up 30%. The service has also gone down. They seemed to have changed their employees. The new ones are a little rude and non accommodating for special orders like the old employees were.

I gave it 3 stars only because I have actually never eaten there but frequent the 7/11 next door but it always smells good and has customers eating or waiting in line there and that area is kinda boogie meaning the annual house income is much higher than the average in california so it has to be decent at the very least
