I loved it! Excellent service!! Juan, a very attentive young man, served me and recommended a delicious dish!! Thank you so much for everything, God bless you greatly!
The one guy that works there really sucks. He’s slow, takes forever to get you your order, and gets distracted talking to his coworkers. I was there 30 mins just for some fruit and juice.
Delicious ✨
It actually tasted like the michoacana from TJ👍🏻
Great ice cream for different cravings
🍡 Got there at 5:30, asked for an esquimal — the paleta dipped in chocolate con chispas. Nothing fancy.
Me dijeron: “No tenemos.”
But I could see them. Literally. Right there. En el congelador.
So I asked again, politely. And now it’s: “We’d have to heat the chocolate — it takes time.”
So which is it — you don’t have it, or you don’t wanna do it?
And that’s where the question starts. Not just what was said — but how it felt.
I ordered in English. She replied in English. But the vibe said: you’re not from around here, huh?
Now… maybe I’m wrong.
Maybe it’s just laziness.
Maybe I don’t match the rhythm.
Maybe it’s just… effort math.
But I’ve seen the pattern before. I speak Spanish too. Fluently. I just don’t lead with it.
And I’ve noticed: when I don’t code-switch first, the tone sometimes changes.
This time? No rush. No crowd. The line was calm. Nadie estaba agitado. Other customers got full multi-layer drinks made without issue.
And I’m asking for a paleta dipped in warm chocolate. That’s a 90-second task. Maybe less.
So why the excuses?
Why the energy shift?
Why the wall?
And speaking of walls — let’s talk about that big sign up front:
“We reserve the right to refuse service.”
In an ice cream shop?
For who?
This isn’t a nightclub. It’s una nevería.
So what are you protecting yourselves from — drunk families? Respectful teenagers?
Or are you just laying groundwork to not be questioned when the service doesn’t match?
Because it’s starting to feel less like a “policy” and more like a shield for low-effort attitudes.
I didn’t argue. Didn’t demand. Just said, “Nah, I’m good,” and left.
That’s the part that should sting.
No sale. No scene. Just quiet clarity:
Someone walked out not because you couldn’t serve them —
But because you wouldn’t.
So now I’m asking:
Was it laziness?
Was it preference?
Or was it the fact that I didn’t look, talk, or act like you expected me to?
omg great service
Everything was okay, just the long wait. Needed more employees
Every thing is very delicious. Even though I live in Escondido, I come to San Marcos to get my yogurt with fruit. I love it.
The Best!
Love the selection of ice cream and flavor drinks

The food n drinks are good but I'm giving them 1 star because this is the second time they give my grandpa some weak cup holders , he does door dash and he ended up not getting paid because the drinks spilled due to them putting the cups in a weak cup holder . The first incident he was able to catch the drinks but the last time it was a fail and what really angers me is that not only did he not get paid by door dash the customers were angry and harassed him. Then when he told michoacana about it they didn't care they were very nonchalant . Their customer service is terrible.

Hidden gem! Omg the flavors!!! Wanted to skip this place for Handel’s and so glad we didn’t! They have so many different types of offerings: sundaes, popsicles, ice cream, waffle cone, and so much more. Ice cream was so smooth, creamy and delish and the paletas were so refreshing, perfect for summer!!
