Found this place accidentally i went to buy flowers across form them and then i craved the fresas con crema i decided to give this place a try and omg im so glad i did the fresas are the best fresas con crema besides the Tocumbo ones from city heights in south SD the Ham torta was the most delicious. definitely coming back again and again . service was great she was courteous helpful, and quick

The food n drinks are good but I'm giving them 1 star because this is the second time they give my grandpa some weak cup holders , he does door dash and he ended up not getting paid because the drinks spilled due to them putting the cups in a weak cup holder . The first incident he was able to catch the drinks but the last time it was a fail and what really angers me is that not only did he not get paid by door dash the customers were angry and harassed him. Then when he told michoacana about it they didn't care they were very nonchalant . Their customer service is terrible.

Hidden gem! Omg the flavors!!! Wanted to skip this place for Handel’s and so glad we didn’t! They have so many different types of offerings: sundaes, popsicles, ice cream, waffle cone, and so much more. Ice cream was so smooth, creamy and delish and the paletas were so refreshing, perfect for summer!!

I’ve been going to La Michoacana since 6 years ago ever since I’ve moved to southern California. La michoacana has been a place of comfort for me ever since leaving my hometown. The place is always clean, the workers are always so helpful and welcoming. Every time I ask for a suggestion of a new ice cream flavor to try, they always suggest amazing flavors. My favorite Ice cream to get is coffee, the flavor is rich and creamy. The next best thing I get is esquimales, vanilla with coconut is my favorite since it has a light texture that is perfect to cool off with. I recently got to try their new menu item, tortas. I ordered their turkey torta, it has mayo, lettuce, tomato, onion, chipotle sauce, avocado, cheese, jalapeño and of course the turkey. The chipotle sauce really helps the torta with simple ingredients come into one delicious dish. The guy with the beard who made my torta made sure it had the right amount of each ingredients on my sandwich, which made my experience of trying this new dish very delicious. I also ordered fruit agua fresca which is delicious and refreshing. The torta is the best thing to get when getting off from work, lunch break, or a hangout with friends. This is the best Mexican Ice Cream place in San Marcos and is always my number one suggestion to any family or friends coming in out of state or visiting somewhere far from in state.

I would like to share my experience at this place. After stopping by for what I thought would be a pleasant experience resulted in the most unpleasant and rude interaction with the people that run that place… I’m currently under a disability condition that unfortunately had me waiting in the car while I sent my little girl who’s 7 years to buy some ice cream I noticed my child being ignored while standing in line there was a few staff members gossiping and chit chatting while my daughter was trying to get there attention for service from my car I noticed people going in and leaving with there orders but my child was still there expecting someone to help her with her order…! Sadly she was being bypassed and ignored Why? Because she’s and innocent child that is small and can’t defend her self this is unacceptable!! So I get off my car to go check and find out what’s the problem??? These unprofessional and incompetent cashiers wore laughing and talking when I asked the reason of the delay they seemed bothered the guy who was giving me an attitude didn’t have a name tag but he was so rude I made it clear that you don’t mistreat a child it is still a costumer and they have no right to ignore and disrespect my 7 year old by not helping her with her order. Honestly with workers like these that won’t take responsibility for there bad behavior and still have the nerve to yell and treat you like you are the problem when they should make you feel welcomed is unacceptable!!! I hope the owner knows this is discrimination and this should not be tolerated. I SURE HOPE THE OWNER TRAINS THE STAFF TO VALUE AND RESPECT EACH AND EVERY CHILD COSTUMER THAT ENTERS THAT BUSINESS DOOR!!
