Great Mexican food with large portions for a decent price. One of the best California burritos locally. They put an equal amount of fries and meat in, which is great. Their caramel stuffed churros are delicious. I always enjoy coming here with friends to get food. They often have ball games on the TVs which is nice if you're a sports fan. And it's right across from CSU San Marcos which is convenient for university students.

Taco Tuesdays - I was looking for lunch after a Dr appt at Kaiser and I saw this plaza on the way. Definitely found a good Fish taco and on Tuesdays you get two regular sized Fish Tacos for $7. I was impressed by the taste and the size. I will be back again next time in San Marcos. They have a huge menu and a variety of Vegetarian options. They have an Outside patio and a walk up order window for to go orders. Very friendly & helpful staff.

The food is always fresh and flavorful. I ordered the Shrimp Fajita salad and it was huge and delicious! There is no photo because I got it to-go and when I got home it was not picture perfect. Just very YUM!

I was looking for a breakfast spot near by and found this instead. So I went in to get a breakfast burrito but ended up with a California burrito instead. It is eather pricey but for the location and the economy it was fair. The burrito had all the trimmings. My son wanted street tacos and they were very meaty. Overall the employees were pleasant and the restaurant is clean.

First time visiting this place today I walk in and I do realize there are semi busy, but there are three people behind the register not one person greets me to say hello. I’ll be right with you. I stood in line for about three minutes and then I walked out. We never returned to a business like that.

Our favorite here is the cheeseburger! I know that’s crazy but their burgers are super good. I like the queso birria tacos and the beef chimichangas.

Unfortunately the service was bad. The heavy set Hispanic lady that works as cashier has a bad attitude, not sure if she’s the owner or an employee. She was rude to me and my family for no reason.

Had called in our order because a member of my family has a severe food allergy and to avoid confusion in ordering online. The person we talked to on the phone assured that it was okay and they were able to make the accommodations. The food was ready pretty quick, took about 15 mins had ordered for pick up. When I got home after picking up the food everything that we had asked to be removed (which it also was clearly stated on the receipt) was on the food. Thankfully an epi pen was nearby but they had blatant disregard, and when I went back to get it made correctly was the notified that the accommodations couldn't be made which was the whole purpose of us calling in in the first place. The rest of the food was decent but we won't be going back. Just be mindful if you have food allergies.
