Great food, good service and courteous waitress. But the pop/rock music is loud!
Asked the waitress if it is possible to turn the music down, the waitress say that she will ask the manager.
The pop/rock music was never turn down.
Very disappointed š.

I gave this place two tries, the second time was just as bad as the first time. The service at the bar is super slow and lacks attention. Both times Iāve visited I was the only person of color & felt very uncomfortable especially with the slow service. It takes 20 minutes for a drink. The bartender serves locals or their regular clients with attention and detail. But everyone else youāll be waiting.
I would hate to feel itās because Iām a minority but thatās what it feels like. The bartender chats with the regulars & forgets you order a drink. I wonāt be back. How do you expect to get additional regulars if you donāt treat the new customers like they matter? All money spends, the new customers and old. Not a pleasant place at all. I never tried the food because service is so slow.

Food was good but expensive for what we received. We sat in the middle room and it felt like a diner, not a cozy restaurant. Paper napkins instead of linen. We always went to their previous location but we were disappointed in this new location and new menu.

Luv this place! Took my Daddy for his Bday, who thoroughly enjoyed it. Variety of entrees to chose from. Everyone devoured each dish. I especially found the sirloin tips quite tasty. I highly recommend the Mining Company for your dining needs. Bon Apetit!

Our party of five arrived at 5:30 on a Saturday night, and although we were seated right away, we didnāt receive our food for an hour. Our server, Wyatt, was MIA the entire night. We saw him just three times in two hours. We were so hungry we had to ask another staff member to get us crackers until our food came. Unfortunately, after our food was finished, my son wanted dessert, but prior to ordering it I needed to make sure it would arrive in a timely manner, so I asked Wyatt directly (in the nicest way I could muster given my annoyance) if the desert would come soon. He stated ā3-5 minutes.ā It was nowhere near that time frame. I am really disappointed we were never given an explanation as to why this happened or an apology for this extreme neglect.

I enjoy one of the few remaining salad bars. The tri-tip is moist, smokey but just at the point of being a little too greasy. Still delicious.
I really miss their location on restaurant row, but same great food and friendly service at this location. I really enjoyed the brisket sandwich with a side of fries

We used to visit the bar area at the former Mining Company site a couple times a month because we loved the vibe, the service, food and everyone seemed to enjoy being there, both customers and your employees. Weāve tried the new location three times and the staff looks and acts like they would rather be anyplace, but there. Whether itās because they are overworked, or you are understaffed or whatever the reason is, last night we waited 12 minutes for the bartender to acknowledge us at the bar, the man to our right hadnāt been helped either, and he was there 5 minutes before us. It would be one thing if the bar was jam packed, but there were five stools available when we got there. we could see a bartender was making drinks, and there was a second bartender moving in and out of the area, and there were various servers coming into the bar space with food for some of the tables, but the only person who even acknowledged us was the bus man. When the bartender finally acknowledged us, she said she didnāt see us there, which OK sheās busy I get that, but she didnāt act like she had any time for us. She abruptly said what do you want to drink? Do you want food? No smile, no welcome inā¦nothing. Then when she brought us our drinks she never came back again to ask how the food or drinks were, need anythingā¦nothing. Our food was delivered to us by another server and we had ordered, medium and medium rare tri-tip salads and both came medium. We decided not to say anything because why even speak up when nobody cares that weāre there.
I have a degree in hospitality management and worked in the industry for many, many years and I have a lot of respect and grace for bartenders and servers. It is a hard and often thankless job, so we are always very respectful and try and be as kind and nice and tip the staff well. But in my restaurant days, I always expected my staff to be friendly and courteous and to make every customer feel like they were the only person who mattered.
And that used to be the case when the Mining Company was in its former location, and itās why we loved going there and bringing our friends and family, but weāre not going to go back to this new location and spend $75-100 bucks until you spend someone time retraining your team and recapture some of the former Mining Company vibe.
