My husband and I had their tiramisu and cannoli and it was amazing. Unfortunately we didn’t have time to have lunch but definitely will make time when we’re back in town. The two young men were so helpful and kind.

I really like this place, especially the sandwich they call Venice, it is hard to get stuff like this in the USA. It is huge and I can live off it for two days, ask them to cut it in half for you.

I like the old world deli approach and they have lots of old world ingredients for sale as well,

If you are looking for alternatives to ultra processed food lunches, this is the ticket.

FYI no offense to Subway but this is beyond their wildest dreams and not the same league nor business model. Waaay better. Please go there and help them stay in business, it is close to my office and a little gold mine for people that cherish Euro food.

Just ate there for the first time! I had heard that it was made like a Subway on steroids this is a Subway laugh out loud never ever could ever dream to be like this when it ever grow up! First off all the Italian meats and cheeses sauces oils bread everything came from italy! Yes you can walk up and order what you want you can also have pre-made sandwiches I let this young man make my sandwich and he is a master of sandwiches! Fresh focaccia bread but you can choose many a different breads, Mortadella, hot capicola and pancetta. Provolone cheese, mixed greens, Italian dressing, tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, peppercini , red vinegar. Mayonnaise and chipotle aioli sauce. Wonderful olives some with pits some without as well as wonderful macaroni salad fresh. And frankly the best meatball I've had in I can't remember since when! With wonderful marinara sauce I want to go back just for meatballs. Gelato for dessert! Yum yum. Next time I'm in San Marcos for sure that's what I'm hitting up even if I'm in Oceanside I would drive down a little further for the best sandwich I probably ever had. Plenty of meat very tender very flavorful I want to mortadella sandwich and a meatball sandwich next time I come back. See you tomorrow.

First time trying last week, didn’t realize it was <5 min from me. Sandwiches & soups were great, all authentic Italian ingredients & for a very reasonable price! The new chef/GM let me try their meatballs and those were awesome as well. I’ll be trying the meatball sub next time. Excited to see the new menu he was telling me they’re working on. I’ll def be back. Happy to have a quality sandwich spot close to home!
