I miss the old sauce covered chicken. Sauce on the side is just not as good...

The manager was very kind and the food was so so delicious ? We got to try out several dishes from the menu for lunch (we had mild, soy garlic, and gold sparkling chicken strips, spicy rice cakes, kimbap (new on menu), and a hot dog. We could tell they were all fresh and we just LOVED the quality and taste of the foods. Padadak is probably my favorite restaurant in SD and I'll be coming back whenever I crave the food again ?

(I would attach pictures of the lunch we had but we were busy digging in, sorry!??smelled too good)

Probably my fav chicken house in San Diego! The flavors and the variety of foods are incredible, and the store is also very clean
I personally love the Gold Sparkling (cheesy garlic taste) and Soy Garlic chicken strips and would recommend them to anyone! The tteokbokki is also very tasty and the new menu of fried kimbap was an awesome combination I was so full lololol

We finally got the chance to try out Padadak and absolutely loved the food. We ordered the half and half (beef and cheese hotdog). We also ordered the Gold Sparkling flavored chicken strips with fries. Both were so delicious and juicy!
We looked at the menu and we are coming back to try the other food on their menu (would love to try the kimchi fried rice!) seriously by far the best chicken strips ever!!!! The sauces are also oh so good!

The place is very clean and well decorated. Staff greeted us soon as we walked in.

Probably the most unusual review I’ve ever written. Went in to get a drink and a friendly gentleman helped me quickly givingl me a cup and pointed the was to the selections. I didn’t see anything I truly wanted, not Pepsi person. I asked if I could take a bottled water instead. He was quick to point out the bottle water was less expensive and wanted to give me a refund.

I have spent a lot of my life in customer service and retail sales and didn’t think it was worth the effort. I told him I would was perfectly fine. Then i left to enjoy my meal from next-door on the patio. The gentleman approached me with a second bottle of water stating, “I really didn’t want a short change you by overcharging, so I brought you a second one free of charge.”

Excellent customer service!

They have delicious food as well. However, I was looking for a non-fried lunch on Saturday.

Overpriced for what quality you get. Go somewhere else.

The food was ok but way overpriced. The sauces from the squeeze bottles mainly taste like sugar. Prices as high as crack shack maybe higher yet crack shack uses organic chicken n better everything n more options. Wont be back.

Best Korean Fried Chicken spot in San Marcos!! If you haven't tried KFC, this is the spot!!! It's more of a take out spot than a dine-in place.

We used to love going to this restaurant because the food was so good and they gave you a great amount forThe price (even though it wasn’t cheap)! Now coming back to this place after not visiting for a while I didn’t notice that the menu had changed( I ordered online )I did notice that the interior was different when I went to pick up. When I got home I noticed that I didn’t have rice or coleslaw like they usually did and was a little upset that it was only 3 pieces of chicken and a handful of fries for $16!!!! For that price and low amount of food I could have gotten something else!!not to mention my food wasn’t ready when I got there and I had ordered ahead of time!!!I decided to look it up and read that they changed ownership and the menu is completely different!! I don’t think I’ll be going back to this place for the price and changes.

FIRST THINGS FIRST I GOT A TOGO YESTERDAY AND TO BE HONEST IT HAS BEEN A MINUTE SINCE I HAVE ATE AT PADADAK. OBVIOUSLY PRICE INCREASED AND I BOUGHT THE 24 PIECE WINGS ORIGINAL WITH CAJUN FRIES AND JAPCHAE NOODLES. WINGS HAD NO FLAVOR I ASKED FOR TWO SAUCE WHICH USED TO BE SO GOOD. NOW IT JUST TASTE REALLY SWEET AND IT'S NOT EVEN SPICY. IT USED TO BE SWEET AND HAD A KICK TO IT BUT IT'S JUST SWEET. THE ONLY THING I GIVE A 5 STAR ON IS THE CRISPINESS OF THE WINGS. THE JAPACHAE NOODLES WERE EH.. OKAY IT FELT LIKE IT WAS MISSING SOMETHING. SERVICE WAS OKAY. IT TOOK THEM FOREVER TO COOK MY CAJUN FRIES. FOR THE PRICE THAT I PAID FOR I COULD HAVE GOT SOMETHING BETTER TO EAT THAT NIGHT. TOTAL PRICE WAS $69.92 AND IT IS TOTALLY NOT WORTH OF COMING BACK. I GUESS I WILL FIND ANOTHER KOREAN FRIED CHICKEN JOINT.
