Food was yummy here! The pizza or pasta lunch special with salad is $15 and the pizza is really good. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating and the service was good.

3.5 stars overall. Ordered the roasted garlic and goat cheese appetizer, and a Caesar salad through DoorDash. I received the best salad instead of Caesar. The best salad was fine just not what I was craving. I've been meaning to try the goat cheese/garlic appetizer for a while because of the good reviews. I was thinking it would be a fun way for my friend and I to make a few little mini pizzas for ourselves. Overall the ingredients had a good flavor, but the goat cheese was a huge fail for us. If I had known that was the way it was prepared, I never would have ordered the dish. I expected a nice creamy dollop of goat cheese. Instead, it was a fried/baked 1-1/2 inch? ball. It was not spreadable at all because of both the crust, and also because it very dry throughout. Close to being an excellent dish, but ultimately unsatisfying.

First time. I had the lunch special small Caesar and small angel hair Pomodoro. They were ok. Not bad, mediocre I'd say.

I'm always so happy with the food here. Our server, Chloe, was so friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The chopped salad may be a new family favorite as it was easy to share and we all enjoyed the toppings and vinaigrette dressing. Although there are some great pizzas and pastas to choose from, my favorite will always be the pepperoni white. Even though it was busy on a Friday night, we were seated immediately, got our food fast, and received great service overall.

Great casual, table service restaurant. Good food and drink options. Fun place to meet friends and family.

I want to first point out that my typical review of this establishment is a solid five stars...until yesterday. BF and I always sit in the bar area because in any restaurant, that usually equates to better/faster service, AND we are usually fortunate enough to get Emily as our server. Emily is THE BEST there is. We were not lucky enough to have Emily yesterday. We sat down and were soon greeted by Madelyn who took our drink order - two glasses of wine, two waters. The easiest/fastest thing to get on the table, right? We waited a solid 10+ minutes to get what is the easiest drink order because the bartender, Regina, was nowhere to be found...oh, wait...there she is at the hostess station yacking it up. We later overheard Regina tell another guest that it was her last day on the job so that explains a lot. She was definitely already checked out. There were times during our visit that we would look around for a server and no staff were to be found. Like everyone vanished all at once for several minutes at a time. We ordered a pizza to share, fettucini alfredo with shrimp, and lasagna. Madelyn said to me, "You realize lasagna takes at least 25 minutes to come out, right?" I almost always order the lasagna and no one has ever said that before and it has never taken 25 minutes before, but it did yesterday. When the lasagna arrived it was a giant puddle of noodles and sauce instead of its usual solid rectangle of deliciousness, almost like they tried to pass off a Stouffers frozen lasagna as their own. Madelyn dropped the food off and never came back to check in on us. She was very robotic; not UNfriendly but definitely does not have the personality to be serving the public. Maybe it was her first day on the job? All this to say our dining experience yesterday was 180 degrees from past experiences. We will return to PN, hopefully to find it has returned to the great place we have been accustomed to. Fingers crossed....

Pizza Nova remains one of my favorite sit down chain pizza spots. I prefer the solana beach location over this one but this location is much bigger which makes it easier to get in and get a table. The food is just as good, solid pizza with fresh ingredients and some really good salads. The last few times I've been the garlic bread balls have been a bit tough and not as warm as I'd like but this is still a great spot for a pizza and a beer. They also have a pretty killer happy hour, including a personal pizza for $8 that fills me up.

I'm actually bummed I have to give one of my former best go to restaurants a negative review. It was just 4 months ago that I took the time to give them a give star review. Welp not anymore! I went in last week for an early lunch. The restaurant was empty. The managers& server greeted me at the counter & basically handed me the menu & told me to seat myself in the patio. I was a bit taken back that they could not take the steps to seat us. Ok no big I guess. On walking out to the patio it was filthy dirty. The ground was covered in leaves, food, crayons & who knows what else. Not a clean spot to be found. I'm pretty sure a good sweeping or a pressure wash would clean it right up but obviously they don't care about cleanliness. I ALWAYS come out of my way to pizza nova from 25 minutes away for their WILD CAUGHT SALMON. Which I've bragged about to friends & family that a pizza place has WILD SALMON! So I asked server as I always do about the salmon. They ALWAYS say it's WILD SALMON. I get it on THE best salad (regular size). This time the server did not know how to answer me. She had to ask. After about 15 minutes with no answer or any communication I waved her down to take our order for we had to go back to our day. I told her to go ahead and order me the salmon salad. After waiting a cool 15-20 minutes our order was brought to our table. The server never said a word about the outcome of the inquiry. So I asked the question again. She just looked at me and said " FARMED". Well since I did tell her to order it for me & just asked for a to go box & I would give the soggy salad to my husband. At that point I was disappointed that my favorite restaurant would change something on the menu & not either state that on the menu or train their servers to make the consumer aware of a pretty pertinent thing. The management definitely dropped the ball on this. Ok so fast forward to the bill, The server charged me for a large salad with a total of $28 for a meal that was not what I came in for than try to overcharge me for it, I spoke to the manager and she adjusted the bill & saw that I was not happy & did not even try to do damage control. I asked for the owners email & basically got no reply so I'm writing this for everyone to see that this restaurant needs to be more aware of the food they are serving. I wasted over $50 of my money & had an awful experience.

Your new North County Sunday-Monday plan! All night happy hour. Not the best happy hour for beer drinkers, but lots of good food and pizza choices with $5 wells and $5 house wines ($5 off $10). Daughter loved her Salmon Crostini. Lobster Bisque was $12.50 and not on happy hour, but had nice lobster chunks and great flavor, not gratuitously heavy. I'm picky about wings, and these are good...they ran out at 6:15! I'm even more picky about pizza, but my BBQ Chicken Pizza was really good! Looking forward to my next trip- we want all of it again!

The food was okay, and while the waitress was pleasant and professional, she was slow to serve the table. It was a little cold, but not distracting.

Outstanding food and service! We were at Pizza Nova about 2 weeks ago for a family birthday and everybody enjoyed their meals. Excellent service, modern and warm environment, and as always, the food is delicious. Went again last night and the 4 of us shared a salad and a white pepperoni pizza.....our favorite! This place is our "go to" for taking relatives or friends . Definitely easy to give 5 stars !

I am addicted to their pizza nova. Hear me out, salmon on pizza is awesome. I order a 10 inch like every week and they always include free garlic knots. Also you should try the tiramisu. If I recall, they also have pretty good cocktails.
