Went in for Poke on Labor Day. As I walked in, I noticed a really strong fish smell. Before I get any negative feedback, I’d just like to note that Fresh Poke or Fresh fish in general, should not have an extreme “fishy” smell. That is when you know it is close to expiration. I was concerned about the quality of the food, but since I was on a time crunch, I had to just pick something up. As someone who eats Poki all over San Diego and Orange counties, I can unequivocally say that this Poki is the best! The servers are personable, polite and well schooled. Fish is the freshest! Will keep coming back regularly!

I would highly recommend Poke One N Half in San Marcos. The people working there were very friendly and knowledgeable about all of the various fresh items available. The portion sizes were generous and prepared exactly as requested. I will definitely be going back.
