Great beer! This is a good location in North County to grab a quick beer or hang out and enjoy a few. Large patio, or ample seating inside.

We stop for a celebratory beer after golfing at Twin Oaks or Welk. We use the outdoor picnic tables to brag about our golf exploits while enjoying some pretty decent brews. Their red ale has always been excellent. Can’t stand the sours but that’s just me. I’m sure they are just fine. This is an industrial site. If you are going for ambience, go to the tasting room in San Elijo Hills.

The best kept street of San Marcos! Fantastic beers and they have won some serious awards for their beers definitely a must visit.

One of my top 2 brwery is San Diego. You can't go wrong. Board meeting is my favorite but any of their barrel aged or sours are always a homer run

World class beer in a lovely place. We enjoyed our visit to church. We were very welcome on a Thursday afternoon. It just so happened to be the start of a 8 day CA Beer Road trip and Lost Abbey was our first stop. The Beertender was great. She helped us choose what we wanted to drink. I wish we lived closer. It's great that Lost Abbey is available in Georgia. Be aware of your surroundings and leave nothing of value in your car.

Hands down... Best beer in San diego. Year round amazing beers. The seasonal, are even better. In town, a must go to place.

Location in Cardiff is meh. It's like an afterthought of a dank bar in a bourgeois shopping mall. The location website advertises "playing board games with your kids," but doesn't actually have board games. Technically they didn't say they have board games, so that's on me. But what a stupid thing to specifically call out. Why not say "bedazzle a fedora while you're here," if we're just making random suggestions for activities that can happen in a bar? Beer was good, and the to go selection was nice. Bartender acted like he didn't want to be there and was annoyed whenever I asked a question about beers on tap. Go home dude. Call in sick and go on a hike to touch some grass and get your jimmies out bro.

Good selection of beers and some hard seltzer too. Really chill vibe (and a ping pong table!) and good food trucks

My friend Enrique and I drove to San Diego on a Sunday for a short day trip, to get away from the city. Lost abbey, is combined with pizza port beers, and hop concept. The place is small. I was disappointed in their beer selection though. Most of the lost abbey and pizza port beers that was on tap, I've already had them. And hop concept beers were ipas and hazy IPAs. Don't get me wrong, I like IPAs but I wasn't in the mood for one. We were better off going to stone brewery bistro in Escondido instead. The staffs were nice. I guess I had more expectations from this brewery.

The best Belgian style beers in the US. Bring some food from outside and have a few beers. Great environment, friendly and helpful staff.

We love the selection of beer here, particularly the sours. Unfortunately our favorites were all the specialty (barrel aged) ones which ended up costing $5/taster. Our favorites in general included the Citrus Sin and the Ould Ale. No food truck on a random Saturday afternoon but you're welcome to bring your own takeout. The low picnic style benches area reasonable to sit your baby/small child and they are kid friendly

It was a lot of fun. When I went, they opened at 11:00. Now they open at 2:00. I had fun and loved the patio. The server was great. Definitely worth a try.

Beer review. Dog friendly. No kitchen. No food truck on site (on Sunday afternoon). This brewery is like a 3-in-1. They have 3 brands at one location, and their brands have different specialties. The Lost Abby is more European style beer like Belgium Quad, German pilsner etc. The port brewery is more "American" with predominantly IPA. Hop concept is a mix of mostly hoppy beer. I had their imperial stout from port brewery and Belgium Quad with raisin. Good beer and we'll balanced. Their "seasonal" imperial stout doesn't taste seasonal but it is definitely a good malty imperial stout. Overall good beer.
