Food was great, service was good, I got the animal lovers with brussels sprouts, it’s got a rich broth, great noodles, and everything came out fresh and warm, went on a rainy day so it was a busy. What stood out to our table most was our server Zarina. She was amazing and incredibly attentive, checking in on us at the perfect times. She gave amazing recommendations and made the whole experience feel even better. Definitely a spot I’d come back to with reasonable prices.

A staple in my routine.

We eat hear a few times a month after school.

The menu is small, but it doesn't need to be any bigger.

I love the BTS, but the seasonal Tan Tan ramen is excellent!

Minimalist seating, but fun murals and neon signs on the wall make it a casual favorite.

Great service!

If you know you know. But, I don’t think many people know how amazing the quality of the food is here. The quality parallels Japan in every way. It’s a legit Japanese-owned and run Japanese restaurant with everything made the Japanese way. The gyoza is hand-made, the ramen is meticulously made in a way where I don’t think anyplace here in the states makes it.

My husband and I had a fantastic meal here. The ramen, gyoza and shishito peppers were delicious. Our server Erica delivered fantastic service. The ramen was delicious! Broth was very good, improved with more veggies. It was affordable too. We will be happy to return soon.

San Diego has always had a bad reputation for asian food. For god sakes people think Din Tai Fung is actually goood dim sum....but this unassuming random ramen joint place has literally the best fried rice. I say again, THE best fried rice. I say again, RANDOM RAMEN JOINT has the best fried rice.

Tan Tan Ramen (special), Potato Croquettes with Tonkatsu Sauce (special), and the Me So Delight Ramen were amazing. The broths were incredible and authentic. Great vibes and service, very neat spot with crushable ramen and sides/appetizers. 5 stars!

Can’t say enough about the goodness here at my first visit. My son who is 7 took one bite of my me so hot and it was his. The noodles were cooked perfect and the broth was to die for.

My ramen had no flavor except a mouthful of hot oil, it was unpleasant, the server was cool but she seemed mean.. the cooks were laughing it up and not really even cooking because the flavor I experienced today here is terrible compared to the Escondido location.
