Ramen was ok. Seemed to lack flavor and was not piping hot like I am used to. Chicken karaage appetizer was weird, like chunks of chicken had been added to batter to form a ball of weirdness that was then fried. I was mushy and didn't taste right. Gyoza were not very tasty either. This is weird because it was good the first time we went there. But after this time, we are not going back.

I don"t have time for reviews but this one I needed to write a review in hopes that there will be some improvements. First, I understand how hard to get good hired help that will has the skills and ability to have social capacity to perform customer service. I'll say waitress has zero lick of experience or it maybe her first job. It's was my first time there and walk into a bland atmosphere. You can feel it thick in the air. Thank goodness for the music back ground. I walked in confused wondering if I seat myself or is there a host. As I stood in the middle of the place looking confuse with no employee willing to acknowledge me. In about a minute or two later The waitress/host came out looking just as confuse as I am. No welcome greeting. Just a choice to sit. Order food. Did not ceck how I was doing or if the food was up to par. I was hungry not gonna lie so I at most of the portion not gonna complain at that point. I ate what I paid for. But the food was just plain salty. Ramen was salty, gyoza sauce super salty. Will I come back? NO! Will I consider other locations. Maybe not. It's a chain so you have to have the same recipe. Take pride on what you serve its what keeps people coming.

Good little Ramen joint. Haven’t tried the Escondido location yet but San Marcos is run very well. I’ve not had a bad meal yet.

Great food and service. The atmosphere is average hence the 3 star. The outside seating area and the heaters were GRRREAT. The Sapporo Ramen was delicious, perfectly spicy without being over the top. Kids fried chicken and rice and sweet potato fries were decent and tonkatsu was SOLID. And prices were very reasonable too.

We love Ramen and have tried a lot of places. This one is good but I wouldn’t say great. Toppings selection is a bit limited. The atmosphere was cool but it’s pretty basic. They do have several beers and sakes to choose from. Overall really yummy!

Ramen Mik is a relatively small place though it seems very clean. The menu is not a large menu by any means, but what they choose to do in terms of offerings, they do well. We tried two different ramen bowls, miso and their spicy miso. Both were fantastic. The ladies that helped us were polite and attentive to any needs we had. It looked like they were doing a good amount of take out orders so the community must know their food is good.

Ramen was ok nothing really special. I feel they need some sort of blinds for seats near the window. Food preparers were nice and thankful but our server was not. She didn't even say thank you and almost forgot my drink. I had to remind her. Would I go back? Sad to say no...There are a few other Ramen places I'd rather go.

Found this restaurant because it was walking distance from the hotel I was staying at. I honestly wasn't expecting much since I've had a number of well known ramen places throughout California, but I loved this BST ramen that I ordered. The noodles were cooked perfectly, which is often my main criticism of ramens I try. The broth had a perfect balance of the black garlic oil and tonkotsu flavor. The dashi egg and chashu were also cooked perfectly and had great flavor. The service was also excellent. We were greeted and seated right away. The waitress was friendly and gave helpful recommendations from the menu when I asked what the popular ramens were. The establishment was clean and looked nice as well.I would definitely come back again if I'm in the area and recommend it to anyone who loves ramen.

Everything here was so good, and the prices are really good too honestly. We got 2 ramens, karaage, gyoza, and two drinks, and it came out to about $64 with tip. The ramen is great quality and the gyoza were incredible. The service was fast and friendly! The restaurant's decor is nice and looks incredibly clean. Overall I'd definitely recommend this place. It's up there with Menya Ultra for us! The noodles are soooooo chewy and perfect.

Had to try this Japanese ramen place that I saw on Instagram.Parking was easy.Restaurant was clean including restaurant.Service was meh...Ramen was simple yet authentic, miso based broth with full of umami flavor! Dashi egg was a huge plus for me!!Felt like I was somewhere in Japan. But chicken karaage.. what had happened? May be they were trainng a new chef or were in rush but it was undercooked! I could taste the wet corn flour/coating inside. It was just awful.I told the waitress about it but she did absolutely nothing about it. No apolgy, no refund, just took my dish away and give me the bill. Yes, they still charged me for chicken karaage, fine. Wish they handled it more professionally.Well, thankfully I didn't get sick from chicken yet.. (crossing my fingers)I was so excited to check this ramen place out in San Marcos area but never again... I drove 30+ miles all the way from Balboa Park and was very dissapointed by their food quality & service.Guess I will stick to Rakiraki for now.

This place was a amazing! I got the vegetarian ramen and the broth was so rich and creamy! Plus the noodles were cooked to perfection, I loved the thickness and texture of the noodles. Plus all the veggies that we in the bowl tasted very fresh. I really liked how all the flavors mingled together. My friend got the Me So Hot bowl and they were also very satisfied with their meal! As for the service, the wait staff was friendly and the food came out very quickly! I would definitely come back for more ramen
