Typical looking Mexican Food dine-in/take-out restaurant, but their food is far from typical. I've lived in SoCal the majority of my life and this place, hands down, has THE best burritos in all of SoCal. Their Pac Man fries are bomb as well as their quesadillas.Normally I get a Pollo asada or a CA burrito. The flavors and size are . I've shared the bacon wrapped burrito and that was amazing as well. Also, their carne asada is edible and good. So many places have chewy meat that I don't normally order anything with carne adasa, but Sayulitas changed the game for me.The prices are a little high, but what prices aren't these days? With Sayulitas, it's still a good deal since you could probably get 2 to 3 meals out of one burrito if you have self-control.The restaurant is owned by a couple that is Filipino and the other is Mexican so there is a fusion with the food. There are burritos with lumpia, tocino in their Pac Man fries, and longonisa in some other dish.Try this place out if you want excellent food! Highly recommend ?

Their California burrito is huge. Easily 2-3 meals out of it! Their queso cheese is good and a little spicy.

Killer burritos some of the better served and flavorful burritos in the area. They are also opened later than most in the area with last call around 9:30. Staff is friendly and can't go wrong with unlimited refills. Depending on when they change the bag the tamarindo and horchata can be light to strong but the food is always great and consistent. Try the breakfast burritos!Vegetarian options: You can opt in and out of meat itemsDietary restrictions: They can adapt to your needsParking: Plenty of parking through the night can't speak ton rush hour timesKid-friendliness: They can make smaller portions for kidsWheelchair accessibility: Yes

Its just ok. Had to wait in line for a take out order while others just picked up their food. Asked for salsa that they had on cups in the refrigerator and was told no. Just not the best experience.

Absolutely amazing Mexican food. Taco Tuesday tacos were small but filled with toppings. The salsa is super fresh and there are several varieties which are equally as good as the next! Many taco shops in SD falling off... Not this one.

I want to start by saying that we are huge fans of this restaurant. My wife and I have traveled all over Mexico… And this menu has a unique twist in both preparation and presentation. However, we were very disappointed when we got home and opened the bag with our order in it only to find it wasn’t there. We only ordered one burrito and I ordered it online, hours in advance, and when I picked it up at the designated time, there was great service from the gentleman behind the counter. I signed the receipt as he requested, however, when we got the order home and opened the bag, it was not what we ordered. The real unfortunate part is that we were given what seems to be a surf and turf burrito instead of the Salchichon. Normally we would just take it and move on, but my wife is allergic to shellfish. We would’ve happily brought it back if we did not live 40 minutes away all the way over on the far east side of the county. We were both extremely disappointed. She had to order delivery from somebody else out and that caused a small argument and an unpleasant evening. I called and wrote to the staff, which responded to both of my inquiries with the same reply: "we apologize, and we will take it up with local management". What does that even mean? Not the customer service or even the apology we were looking for. They seem to feel this kind of thing happens, but that's just tough, and bad luck for us.I’m not sure what can be done at this point… But we wanted to write a review to make sure any future client MAKES SURE TO CHECK THE CONTENTS of the bag before leaving with your order. Because they couldn't care less after the fact. Our order was not complicated. However, paying $20 for a burrito and then not even getting what we ordered is more than irritating. =(

The only thing negative I have to say is , just wrapped the burrito a little tighter . I order a Cali and it was so big and not properly wrap . Other than that it was delicious just hard to eat . Went back and they rewrap it ! Gracias
