Had a great experience here recently. We went for a birthday celebration, and everyone from the wait staff to the chef to our tablemates made it special.
One of my kids has a food allergy, and I especially appreciated how careful the staff was about it. They immediately asked about food allergies, wrote down a note to keep on our table regarding the allergy, alerted the chef of the allergy, and checked everything we ordered to ensure it was safe to consume. I've had a lot of experiences at various restaurants regarding allergens, and this was one of the best, most thorough experiences I've had. My child felt very safe eating here and really appreciated that while they didn't make a big deal out of it, they took care of it and were thoughtful.
The wait time ran a little long to be seated (we had a reservation), but I appreciated that they kept us informed while we waited and even brought complementary appetizers as a thank you for our patience. It went above and beyond what I expected, especially since we hadn't complained about the wait and could see it was a busy night.
The food and entertainment was great. Our server Jennifer was exceptional (see: allergy paragraph above) and our chef was also excellent. Overall, a fantastic experience and we will surely be back to this location.

We took the whole family here for Valentine's Day dinner and had a blast. From our 4 year old being awed (and a little scared) of the show, to our teenage daughter and her boyfriend enjoying their smoothies, alongside grandma who handled the loud noise well, we all had a wonderful time. The chef was so much fun and engaging with the kids and adults. The food was spectacular! Between the 7 of us we had every range of food you could imagine, chicken, steak, lobster, sushi and scallops plus much more. We will definitely be coming back. The dipping sauces are delightful.
Nice and professional staff bringing you delicious meals. Recommended

Our chef was Cesar, he was great. The food was ok but way too much butter for me. The meal size is very generous. We may be back but I might do sushi next time
Yesterday, we have been in Shogun for the fourth time, but this was our last time. We were celebrating my husband's birthday. I put it in comments when making the reservation and the cook also asked us if we were celebrating any special occassion. We shared with him it was my husband's birthday. The food was tasty, but the service was terrible. The whole dinner was so rushed! We were in an out of there just under 60 minutes. When we were half way done with our food, but still eating, the server came by our table and rudly asked how many boxes we will need. When he came back with the boxes, he also gave us the final bill. No one asked my husbad or I if we would like another drink ( eventhough our beer glasses were nearly empty) , no one offered dessert etc. They wanted us out of there so quickly. It really ruined our night . Our kids and I were looking forward to a nice festive dinner for my husband and instead of that, we received this terrible treatment at Shogun. They used to do a little short ceremony for someone celebrating their birthday, they did not care a bit yesterday. We spent $300 for 2 adults and 3 kids and we will definitelly give our money to someone else next time. Very dissapointing.

We had a wonderful experience at ShoGun. Much better than Benijana where in the past month and half were made to wait between 2 and 4 hours. This will be our new place to celebrate family functions and to have a great date night. The staff and cooks were outstanding.
Our chef, Sal, did a great job. The restaurant was very busy. We felt rushed through the process. The food wasn't as good as normal. The addition of potatoes and noodles to the standard dinner did not make sense. We had a OK time. However, I don't feel excited about going back anytime soon.
Our Tepan chef was amazing, engaging, personable and fun! The food was delicious - especially the steak and scallops. The fried rice is very tasty and sushi is good. For sushi lovers, they even allow you to order half rolls (on some) so you can try different rolls! So many options for tasty food and drinks. Will definitely be back in the future!
