Just about everything sucked.. sashimi was not fresh at all. Oysters were horrible. And even the edamame was undercooked and hard. Thankfully they were out of everything else I wanted to try.

Today's food was disappointing. The salmon sashimi wasn't fresh and ramen noodles were bland, pork was chewy. The miso soup was the only thing that was good. It used to be a good place but not today

When we first got there we were treated very badly. The girl at the register was very very rude and wouldn't help us at all. What made everything worse is that your food made me really sick

Food and service is great! The Salmon and lemon roll is my favorite! Waitresses are very welcoming and the chefs make the vibe fun.

The food was mediocre at best. The sashimi wasn’t fresh but the salmon plate and sashimi were edible. Definitely don’t recommend this place.

Love this place! Prices are good, portions are good, fish is fresh! You couldn't ask for much more from a sushi place. We've been back several times since trying it last month. Highly recommend the sake Donburi!

3.5 stars The biggest plus for this place are the low prices: the nigiri pieces of fish are huge, yet they charge no more than a place serving fish only 50-70% of that size. The cold sake prices are also very good compared to places we typically dine at. The downside for me is that the fish just didn't seem that flavorful. There was nothing wrong with the fish, but it just didn't grab me. I wouldn't tell anyone not to go to this place, but for me I'd rather pay a bit more and get some flavors that really satisfy.

Me and my Dad frequent this spot, he does business at Palomar College. We've tried all the local Sushi restaurants and this is EASILY THE BEST.Today we had a Sashimi combo each, and I had 3 hand salmon rolls. We usually get a large Kirin each and a large sake to share.HUKU's fish is high QUALITY and the rolls are wrapped expertly. Get something with rice if you wanna get full, but if you are a fan of fish the SASHIMI and hand rolls are AMAZING.The COMPETING RESTAURANTS more EXPENSIVE despite the smaller portions and LOWER QUALITY fish. One local competitor has really cheap sake but it's exactly that, CHEAP and harsh. We think this is the "BEST BANG FOR YOUR BUCK" sushi in the area!

Great value! They're Ramen+1 combo Got me a big bowl of Shoyu Ramen, a spicy tuna roll and a beer for 25 bucks out the door. People on both sides of me were getting some of the fancier stuff and it looked great I will definitely be back to try
