Their service and food are usually on point, and I visit this place every other weekend with the same group. However, I’m at a loss for words to describe the recent experience. We arrived about 15 minutes before closing and were informed that we would have to take our food to go. We were okay with that. Plus even after they were closed people were coming in.
When we received our food, my friend’s shrimp taco was transformed into a fish taco, and the nachos he ordered were missing cheese. When my friends brought this to the waitress’s attention, she began arguing with us, claiming that she had confirmed that the shrimp taco was fish tacos. I believe she mistook my order for a fish taco and two turf.
We politely requested that she remake the food, but she refused, stating that the restaurant was closed. This was incredibly unprofessional and the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced at this establishment.

$8 for a taco is ridiculous. Came here with my mom and daughter and for 6 tacos and two drinks we paid $70. That is insane! This isn’t even a 5 star restaurant it’s a basic taco shop. You guys used to have an affordable menu and now it’s ridiculously expensive for no reason. Not to mention the customer service is terrible. Never again. I started telling people to not come here anymore and when I show them menu prices they agree that it’s way too expensive.

I was with my daughter in San Marcos and was craving fish tacos. This place did not disappoint with both flavor and menu selection. I thought the prices were a little steep - about $7 for one taco, but it was definitely delicious. My daughter got the homemade fresh horchata and said it was one of the better ones she's had.

I’ve been vegan for 10 years. One day during my lunch break, I decided to give Taco Bar a try. For some reason , the fish tacos (which they are famous for) called to me. I was not disappointed! The tacos were delicious. I am now selectively pescatarian, and get my fish taco fix a couple of times a month. I’m still trying to make thoughtful environmental choices, now with a belly full of fish tacos ! Thank you Taco Bar in your role in helping me enter this next chapter of dietary fulfillment!

First time here. Really enjoyed stopping for a morning bite to eat. Folks here are kind, smile and make you feel at ease, if if you haven't had your first cup of coffee and are a bit ornery...😁 Felt like a couple of street tacos....light, quick and easy. Carnitas, and Asada..both great but the Carnitas is my favorite...Pork, it does the body good! Bathroom is clean, booths are clean... I recommend having chow here. Chipotle sauce is very good...I did not feel any heat on the habanero sauce....

The staff was friendly and the place was clean. Chicken was dry. But maybe it’s because I ordered at the end of the day? I think this place is good but I would prefer better salsas. I think they water down the salsas because of Americans. A spicy chile de arbol thick salsa would be so great!

I had already been let down by the service, but I gave him another chance tonight. And it seemed like I repeated the same day with the same rude service. The place was about to close, but we still had eight minutes and the finale of the soccer game we were watching had five minutes to go. It seemed like the girls wanted to get out of there tonight and looking at me straight in the Eye turned the TV off. As she came to pick up the last plate on our table. She said will you need anything else? I said no we will get out of here since you turned the game off. It’s like I was talking to the wall.
