This place is busy and has long queue even on a weekday night. Went without a reservation ( they dun take reservation call but you can Q in advance using the Yelp app) and was made to wait for 30 minutes. The food was served in a bag with the spices and sauce all in one. The sausages and potatoes are all thrown inside. The sauce is kind of high in sodium ( be prepared to drink tons of water later) but addictive. However, because everything has the same sauce, you probably will hit diminishing returns in no time. Therefore, I will rec a mix of other stuff that are not served in the bag, such as lemon chicken wings, fries etc drinks come free flow and you probably will need it to wash down the food.Service is good ? and the staff are very friendly.A nice experience eating without the worry of leaving a mess in the end!

Expensive for what you get. Each part of the bag is price separately, meat, potatoes, corn, etc, so it adds up quickly. For crab, it's a total gamble as your bag could be anywhere from 3/4 a lb to almost 2 lb, so at a market price of $30ish a lb for snow crab and $50ish for king...whew boy! They don't tell you ahead of time the weight! (They do explain the risks though to be fair!) Super noisy in the restaurant too, poorly designed industrial space. There's other seafood boil places around that are just as tasty and you'll get more food for your money and you know your spend up front. But if you want to say you ate at boiling crab...

I really like this location, the ambiance is really lively and staff are friendly. The host Stephanie is extremely sweet snd her introduction was short sweet and to the point. Also it was good that she mentioned where the restroom and wash area was. A lot of places do not do that so brownie point on that. My main server was Gio, he was kind and my friends and I appreciated how he would go over our order and cool with repeating what we got to make sure it was correct. He would go check on our order if it wad coming out a bit late. It was a busy Friday night dinner rush so I don't blame them, I can tell the staff were doing their best. Tammy who was subbing in for Gio during his break was attentive with checking we were okay and whenever we had our hand up she came over and got what we needed. Being in restaurant business service for over 5-6 years, I wasn't disappointed in the service. The food was really flavorful and I liked how the spice levels were the right amount of nice as they should. The shabang was so good, was a but sad the crawfish was really small but it is what it is though. I would come back again!

Food was cold, didn't get the sausage and the potatoes were not cooked all the way. No plates you are expected to eat off the paper on the table and you have to ask for silverware. The service was terrible too. There is NO ambiance in this restaurant, loud and crowded.

I'm not sure what this location is doing differently than the other boiling crab locations but I broke out in hives from tonight's dinner and this has never happened to me. So disappointing because I love the boiling crab, but unfortunately for all I know they could have bacteria growing in there food.

Warning for anyone with an allergy, every single thing sold at The Boiling Crab contains paprika. After an 1.5 hour wait, it was really upsetting to find this out when it could easily be listed as a primary ingredient on their websites menu.Better stars provided for service because the nice host brought me a soda when he overheard me say to my friend that I needed to go get a snack cuz my blood sugar was low. And the waiter did go and confirm with the manager the ingredients of various menu items.Note that the fried shrimp come from a box and are not made fresh on site.
