Horrible since the new owners, will not ever be going there again. We were supposed to have it reserved but the staff did not reserve it at all and there were low lifes there trying to steal from our wedding party, smashing glasses and throwing drinks at people that the staff did nothing about

I was having a bad day. I needed a beer to bury my sadness over losing my daughter. Instead. My bartender tried to force me to smile, while also declaring that she had lost a child, and that my not smiling was no excuse. Rude, very rude. It's a great bar, but the tender is heartless and only plays by her own cold rules. Unless you're cool with being told how to feel, and not being you. I wouldn't recommend it. Great food. And a lot of fun. That's about it. Sorry Cow Shed. She needs to know when to stop. I would like to fix this post by saying that it was under the old ownership.

I've been here twice, and have never gotten a drink. Full bar with the bartenders in the back doing who knows what. The second time they just decided they were done serving for the night at 11 PM.

I have come to this place many times.. but my favorite days are when Amber is working.. she is the best cook and bartender.. everything is pristine.. always takes care of everyone and then when Sam works nights always amazing service.. Saskia is my fav KJ.. the best karaoke shows around.. the best people here

I can't even express the amount of memories I have here at the Cowshed. 5 years I've been coming here. Becca is the day time server and I love love love her. She is beyond amazing. The way she interacts with the customers she makes you feel right at home no matter if it's been your first time in or if you are a regular. She's attentive and so caring she cooks amazing food and loves on everyone that walks through the doors I've seen it first hand. She makes the ambiance of this place so homely. The night crew is also amazing Sam, Joey, Nicole and Gorge they are phenomenal. They make your experience here amazing. If you can make your way here just to experience what I have for the last 5 years please do. Ray is the owner and he is always present and that man is beyond amazing. He welcomes you and makes sure to keep you safe from everything others and yourself. I appreciate everyone here you guys are the Core of San Marcos!!!!

Rebecca the bartender was drunk and cursed at us. She was slurring her words, then drank my friend’s beer. There were only 2 other people in there and one of them left directly after the incident. As did we. Won’t be back.

I give it a 4 star because it’s too overcrowded and people aren’t always respectful of things. But overall it’s a cool bar full of great atmosphere.

Fun place to be. Friendly and welcoming staff. Drinks on point. Fun Karaoke night with friends. We had too much fun my friend had to leave her personal clothing on the stage ceiling. There are pool tables and outdoor areas you can hang around. Dance floor if you want to dance. Dollar bills attached to the ceiling. We will be back. We didn't try any of the food because we came in late and we had dinner from a company party.
