I ate here yesterday for the first time in a few years and honestly it was a let down.
The biggest issue were the pita chips. They weren’t chips, more like crumbs you’d find at the bottom of a chip bag. This is not acceptable especially since I paid for an extra bag of chips.
Prices have gone up too. which is not a problem, but I expect better quality if prices go up. Especially at this place.
Another issue was the rice. They added way too many almonds. I wanted rice with almonds. Not almonds with rice.
And finally, the chicken was cold.
This place used to be awesome. Not sure what happened this time but it wasn’t very good.

Unfortunately, I watched my favorite place decline. Amazing food. I would drive far to eat here. Now, I’m walking out. They frequently run out of chicken. Make you Wait. They have one person working. You Wait. The portions are smaller now. I’ll try returning much later to see if they improve. Many more options in the area.

Best shawarma west of Istanbul with serving sizes that leave big guys full and happy and fresh vegetables that support everyone’s health, kids and adults alike.

The place felt very unorganized and my food was pretty cold. The food was also for sure not worth the price. For a similar price I would recommend people go to Cava or Mr. Shawarma

Pita bread with meal poorly wrapped. Was hard and had to discard. Other foods were tasty.

Why is the tri tip shawarma overcooked borderline boiled beef from a cafeteria container? Its sad because the rest of it tasted good.

Amazing flavors of the middle east! The beef quality wasn't the best but the flavors were great.

I door dashed with them, they didn’t add in my pita bread I had bought. Very unfortunate because my meal came out to be 38 dollars and I ordered and paid for extra pita bread because I only eat it with pita bread. The lady on the phone was nice and responsible which I respect and she didn’t even mess up the order. But making mistakes for delivery is not okay. There is a reason for delivery, I’m not driving to go get my pita bread after paying 38 dollars for it to be delivered. It wasn’t DoorDashs fault but it was the stores and whoever was responsible for my order. If I paid for something I should be receiving it. It also affected my whole meal because I don’t like to eat it without the bread! So that’s why I bought the bread and paid more for it. Unfortunate because I would’ve not spent the 38 dollars if I knew I wasn’t getting the bread

Great customer service and the food is delicious!
This place markets itself as Mediterranean, but it’s giving more generic Middle Eastern fast-food vibes — and not in a good way. I’m not mad at the concept, but I am calling for some transparency, especially when it comes to what we’re actually paying for.
I ordered both the chicken and tri-tip plates. Honestly, it felt like they used the absolute cheapest ingredients they could get away with. The rice was undercooked and had that odd mineral taste like it was cooked with straight tap water full of calcium. That’s not a flavor note I came for.
As for the meats — chicken, lamb, and tri-tip — there was no real differentiation in seasoning. Everything seemed to follow the same basic spice profile, which made the whole meal feel flat. The chicken was overcooked and dry, like they forgot to rest it after grilling. And if you’re going to offer tri-tip, at least season it like you mean it.
The vegetables didn’t pass the freshness test either. For a Mediterranean place, where fresh, crisp produce is key, this felt like someone opened the fridge and grabbed whatever had been sitting around the longest.
Here’s the thing: you’re located next to a public university, and more than half of the student population is on financial aid. Your prices are high, and your quality doesn't justify it. Cutting corners might help short-term profits, but long term? You're just driving customers away.
This meal felt like a quality control failure — and a tone-deaf one at that. Campus Way has seen places come and go, and unless Pita Guys seriously rethinks its approach, this place is headed in the same direction.

I used to eat here much more frequently several years ago. Portions are not only smaller, but prices have increased considerably. No wonder I see WAY less customers.. it was empty, I was the only customer. It used to be PACKED. Sad to see because it’s good food.
I’ve been coming here since I went to college nearby and try to stop by everytime I’m in town cause it’s so freaking good and the portions are great. Def my favorite Mediterranean spot!!!
