Tina's Deli

This place is always packed, so you know the food will be good. I suggest you place an order before arriving, and it’s best to take away. They work really hard; the place has a great vibe, and everyone is super friendly. After living in New York for many years and trying several delis, Tina’s Deli is by far the best HOT Reuben on the West Coast, in my opinion!

Fire sandwiches! Hands down best in San Marcos!! Fresh ingredients, playful style on sandwiches and breakfast! I’ve been going here at least once a week for the last year and it doesn’t miss. They always have fresh sides and local Yerba mate, love supporting small businesses!!

My go to is their secret menu Grilled Chicken Filet, with their Honey Mustard. I don’t even like mustard but their Honey Mustard is hands down the best I’ve ever had in a sandwich. Can’t say enough great things about this place! Just go give it a try, you won’t be disappointed.

I love their chicken bacon avocado ranch salad! They also will make me a pastrami salad with rye bread for the croutons and the Swiss cheese chopped up on it. So yummy!

Love this place they have good sandwiches but I really love the their potato salad. Quick and easy.

Best sandwich

We have driven passed this place for 20 years and never stopped because the location is kinda weird and the outside doesn’t look very appealing.
Well we are KICKING OURSELVES for not stopping sooner!!! We finally decided to give it a try and it is DELICIOUS! Everything is so fresh and tasty. All the staff is also very friendly and welcoming.
Not much sitting inside though, it’s kinda small and the place was packed both times we stopped by.
It’s definitely worth the crowd though. Delicious food, friendly staff and very reasonably priced.

I’ve wanted to stop at Tina’s for YEARS, and today was the day I finally made the stop. I was beyond happy with my cold deluxe Italian sub. I also got an order of deviled eggs and they were delicious! The woman who took my order was so so sweet and so welcoming! Tina’s was everything I’ve always hoped it would be.

Great local sandwich shop and really good quality food and service. Limited seating and bathrooms though! Definitely worth the stop! Skip the chain restaurants!
