I’ve been going to Tony’s Mexican Food for the last 4 years while I’ve been in college, spending around $30–$40 a week there consistently. When I first started coming, the service was great and I genuinely enjoyed supporting the place. Unfortunately, over time, the experience has slowly gotten worse and worse.
A lot of the time they’re out of salsa, which is one of the things I actually enjoy most there. On top of that, the wait times are constantly inaccurate. I’ll call ahead, get told “15 minutes,” show up 15 minutes later, and still end up waiting another 15 minutes. That’s not a 15-minute wait, that’s 30 minutes.
The most frustrating part is watching people who ordered after me get their food before I do, even when I called ahead. As someone who’s been a loyal customer for years, it’s honestly disappointing to watch the service decline like this.
At this point, I’m probably going to stop going and spending my money there, which sucks because this used to be one of my favorite spots.

I bought carne asada fries with yall it hasn’t been the first time and I went with someone else so I know I’m not blind. But yall scamming people in putting the food in a 3 part plate never have I seen that anywhere I’ve gone and the damn lady is saying we always put them there nahh such a lier. Never will go there. Where do you see in other restaurants put their carne asada fries in a 3 part plate. No where!!! Lucky I wasn’t around or I would have demanded the owner to tell me in person if it’s true or not.

Don’t know why they’re still in business. The food is horrible and the owners are worse. We should really stop supporting people like them.

Great food, prompt service, good atmosphere, the only thing to critique is the prices are a little too high.

Overpriced, awful quality, ongoing low quality for years. Don’t waste your money here. No matter what I order it’s bad.

I frequent this shopping mall and have tried this spot a few times now- not only do the male workers look so you like a piece of meat, but the food is overpriced and under flavored (you have to drown your food in salsa to taste anything). The girl who took my order at the front was nice but you expect more for the price you pay

Not good cuts of meat, and terrible service. If they send you home with a completely wrong order, missing items you paid for, they will offer you nothing for your trouble to return and wait for them to correct it.

Very bad service, I ordered by phone and I arrived at the store 15 minutes after I had ordered and my order was still not ready, it was just a burrito but they only had one person in the place working, they should hire more staff, very bad service
Tried this place on a whim, was not disappointed. Fresh tasting food, calm environment. Had the chicken quesadilla.
