I grew up on XLNT Tamales, and now I enjoy having the Chili Bricks shipped to me, as I cannot find them in any stores near me in WA State. I've tried every commercial brand of chili on the market, and XLNT is the only one that has the L.A. that distinctive tang flavor you look for in an L.A. Chilidog or Burger, the others are too bland. If you want a Chilidog at home like you had back in the day, this is it!
I have been eating XLINT Tamales for decades! The tamales have long been a favorite! I had not been able to find the XLINT Tamales in L.A. stores in recent years, but luckily I found the XLINT website and received my order for beef tamales! The tamales came well packed and were still frozen when they arrived. Good choice by shipping UPS because they leave packages at my doorstep instead of at the front gate. I wasted no time in making the tamales my dinner and they actually tasted...
I grew up in L.A. and this was something we had regularly in our house. Now I live in Idaho and I order the same chili because there’s nothing like it. You can add red beans and ground beef a can of tomato sauce and boom! You have the best chili you’ll ever eat anywhere. Not too spicy at all it’s perfect! I share the case with my sister and my mom and we all say the same thing…nothing else like it anywhere…the best chili in the world and it takes CB us all back to Redondo...
