Chapresso is a tiny boba tea shop in San Marino. They have breadth selection of fruit teas and milk tea boba. And it is the only tea shop in this upper middle class city. I came to grab a hot Jasmine Pekoe Green tea which is a high-quality tea leaves , often younger leaves with fine hair (pekoe). Its flavor was smooth, mellow, slightly sweet, with fresh fruity undertones.
Prices were fair. Staff and service were cordial and on spot, respectively. Indoor and outdoor seats were very limited.
Overall, I liked my tea at Chapresso. I highly recommend them.

One of my two go-to tea places in SGV. Been a customer since it opened and while it does have its ups and downs in terms of taste, it is still by far one of the best tea place I've ever been to.
My go-to is the iron goddess milk tea at 100% sweetness and Phoenix milk tea at 75% sweetness.
Highly recommend anyone nearby to try this place out!!!

Updated Review: Their drinks are fantastic! In my original review, I noted that the new cups seem to be flimsier and about 10% smaller in volume. Having read the owner’s response, however, I am convinced that they are the same volume and have updated my review accordingly.

We loved the drinks and service. Not very busy. Very few indoor seating. Some tables outside. Good place to grab boba drinks and socialize with friends.

The drinks were not as good I ordered a milk tea but it was bitter. Maybe because I ordered less sugar but I still don’t think it should be bitter. It was also warm, so was my friends drink. But the vibes in there was cute and nice and the workers were nice too

Perfect boba milk tea. Boba is soft and chewy and the tea is brewed just to the point. Very recommended.
Excellent, fresh boba. Some of the best I've had outside of Taiwan. I also recommend the lychee jelly.

We were excited to a new milk tea place that sued those specialized espresso machines for fresh tea.
I ordered the Phoenix Oolong Milk Tea at 75% sweetness and less ice. The drink came out slightly watered down and disappointed me on the tea flavor. My friends ordered other Milk Teas and noted the same. Hopefully it was a bad day and we will have to try it again.

Matcha was good. I got the matcha with mango pure (right). I asked for light ice but wasn’t given any ice and my drink wasn’t all that cold but the flavor was there. There was only one person working so it took about 15 minutes for us to get our 2 drinks. The matcha was not bad but it definitely was not the best considering my drink wasn’t cold and for almost $10 a drink, there are plenty of other matcha places in LA that is significantly better.

I ordered Gyokuro milk tea but tasted weird heavy chai. Later, it made me headache and was vomit. I will never go to Chapresso again.

The store is a bit small but there is ample seating outside. There is also a lot of great options. Both of my drinks were great and both the guy behind the cash register and the two people working the floor making the drinks were helpful and kind at all times. 10/10
