super tasty I love supporting small businesses! The food was super good! The wait was about 15 minutes since they were busy at the time

Absolutely not authentic and quality is poor, the oyster pancake was blend and totally not Taiwanese style and beef noodle soup tasted like tea eggs w/ cheap chilly sauce and stale broccoli w/ just the flavor of soy sauce nothing else. Threw everything away because nothing was edible.

Loving couple who provide hearty food with fresh ingredients and quality food. Got to try their daily combo (only Monday to Friday) that changes menu every day. 3 dishes with good rice plus Cantonese slow cooked healthy soup under $30. It's a steal!

Kitty's cafe is a mom-and-pop restaurant. It has been our go-to place during the pandemic. Their set meals during the weekdays are great value. 3 dishes with a soup for $30 is such a steal. The other dishes are not bad at all. Chao Fen and wonton are delicious. The eggplant tofu dish is an oh-my! Overall the quality is decent and the taste is homey. The dishes are with low salt and no msg. Seriously, I could eat their food everyday if I lived closer. I still manage to come here whenever I'm in the neighborhood.

Ask the owner for their secret daily menu, the three dish one soup combo is one of the best in SGV

Good portions for a Chinese place, lots of meat, and good tasting. 4 starts only because cash only

We placed 3 orders to go. 1) Hainan chicken rice- not your typical hainan chicken dish...no flavor and the sauce on the bottom of the chicken was weird. 2) beef noodle soup-it was about 5 pieces of meat with broccoli...not good at all. 3)minced pork rice-again no flavor...i wouldn't go back.

Somehow my fb pic doesn't show up. I would give it 3.5 stars if I could. My comment was removed by fb group called SGV Eats. I know it has nothing to do with the owner. But my comment was not negative nor bashing, was hoping to give honest feedbacks. Very disappointed by the fb group!!! I am posting it here so people can see it. The comment I made on fb was that for the set dinner, there wasn't much difference between the 2 vs 3 vs 4 ppl in terms of amount of food. I don't mind paying more for more food, but if it didn't make much of a difference then I would opt for the cheaper set. At least one other commenter agreed with me. But yet fb group didn't allow me to post anything less than a raving review. I don't want other people to complete believe what the fb group says. Why can't I leave honest review like this? It is to make the owner know what he can do to improve customers' experience!

They have daily family meal special. Food was delicious and it came with authentic Cantonese soup. You can use WhatsApp to join their mailing list. 626-348-1338

The food here is awful. I ordered Hainan Chicken and it was microwaved and bland. The pork chop is a little better but I would go elsewhere if taste is important to you. Sometimes we find restaurants than look crappy but serve up great food. The food match show this place looks.

Kitty's Cafe is a Taiwanese style eatery in the north side of the SGV. We stopped by to grab a quick snack. This used to be Copycat Cafe as a heads-up for those wondering. When you come inside, you'll notice a retro look as there are things that still are in transition from Copycat. But that doesn't mean that the food itself was solid. We ordered a set of popcorn chicken for the road and after about 10 minutes, we got our bag full of popcorn chicken goodies. The chicken was delicious - not too crispy and super flavorful. Had a slightly sweet flavor and was nice and hot. The only thing that would've helped would have been some sweet and sour sauce. At least on the weekend, there's plenty of parking in front of the restaurant. The owners are super nice. Know they commented to us that they have been having a tougher time during the pandemic with some lost business around town so they could definitely use the help!

Since last year due to COVID, I have been ordering on and off here for their dinner set meals. The menu comes out each Sunday and you can see what you want to order. I usually get the meal for 3 for $26 which is enough for my family of 4. I do agree with the previous reviewer that they should have more COVID pre-cautions but this is a mom and pop store that is run by husband and wife. I have been to other mom and pop shops where they probably won't wear a mask cooking as well. The chances of you catching COVID from food is slim cuz the enzymes in your stomach can killed it when its ingested. Anyways, I think the owners at kitty cafe are very nice and they always made sure my food comes fresh and hot. I sent my husband to pick up one time but he didn't have cash and I called them to tell them that. They said no problem, I can pay next time. A lot of people are struggling right now so I think if you have issues with them, talk to them instead of writing a bad review. I am sure they will try to do better next time.
