Unfortunately, it looks like San Marino Seafood closed last week (June 20, 2023). Nothing is answering their phone and the sign just always has "Closed" on it. This was one of my favorites - I will miss it

Stumbled on this place today. I selected the Chilean Sea Bass and spinach. The fish was cooked perfectly, forgot to ask how they grilled it. It has a thin crust and a cream sauce. The spinach was delicious with onions, garlic and tomatoes. I sat outside, it was peaceful and clean. I forgot the gentleman's name who took my order and waited on me but Thank you sir! You were amazing. I'll be back again soon

Love the service, location, parking, and ambiance. Everything about this place has it going for them. They even played a bit of the Cowboy Bebop jazz intro while I was dining here. I really wanted to love this place, but I walked out of there thinking the food was just okay.Let me start with the positive: chowder. It's good, get it. I got the bowl because all the reviews suggested getting it. It's really tasty. Some places add thickeners without it being fully dissolved, this one was blended well with the all the ingredients meshing together and not overpowering each other. I am willing to order a container worth of this soup. Here's the negative: fish and chips was what I wanted to love because there's so few good fish and chips place around the area. This fish was well fried, but the batter was too thick. I felt like I was eating toast. The fish was properly cooked with it being just the right amount of flakiness. However, I would've liked the fish to have some seasoning so it stands out. As it stands right now, I couldn't taste much of any seasoning or the fish flavor. The grilled shrimp sandwich was also lackluster. It had all the ingredients to be good, but it also fell flat. My reasoning was that all the components of the sandwich was there, but it was too dry to gel together. The grilled shrimp was charred, but it tasted like I was eating the leftover bits from the grill rather than the burnt edges of the shrimp. Maybe some aioli or mayonnaise would be nice.

The food was so delicious and the staff was very nice and patient with us. We will definitely be back.Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu

I really like the food. For a hole in the wall place, it had big impact. The servings are generous, reasonably priced, tasty and the servers are attentive and friendly.

Amazing food! Super fast service! And the employees really care about what you think if their food and gather your feedback!Their red snapper burrito they said it's a new item on the menu, but it was so good! Like so good that I couldn't stop eating my second half of burrito! Highly recommend the red snapper burrito! Very good flavors and ratio of things going on!Also had their grilled halibut taco, which was very good and fresh! All ingredients super fresh! And a huge mount of taco! Good quality and quantity. Wish I had taken a picture before eating!

A very non assuming tiny dining space that also sells limited supplies of super fresh cuts of fish and shellfish, you could drive by with never even noticing the place. However, the food is actually quite good, even if prices tend to be on the more expensive side. I had been meaning to try this place for awhile, but while I eat shellfish, I don't really enjoy regular fish, which makes up most of their food choices. Went there with the kiddo today, and was not disappointed in the tasty meal.Parking on the street is easy to find. The tiny staff are able to handle the tiny dining area, as well as the steady stream of people who come for take out. There were a lot of mothers and fathers coming in with their kids to pick up orders they had called in. There is a the fresh fish for sale, some Homeboy Bakeries bread for sale, and daily specials and a desert listed on a white board above the fish counter. Service was courteous, but there is really only one guy handling that while one guy works the register and take out orders, and one guy seems to do the cooking in the back. I have heard food can take a while to come out. Our appetizer came out quickly, but our sandwiches did take a little longer than I expected. Still, not a problem. We shared the $24 appetizer of clams and mussels in a white wine and garlic sauce. The standard dish you've probably had at tons of restaurants in numerous cities, served with toasted bread to dip in the sauce. It was pricey, but they did give a good amount of clams and mussels. The sauce was good, but I wouldn't say this stood out as one of the best white wine/garlic sauce I've had. I've had better at many places. Still enjoyed it. The sandwiches were amazing. We each got the grilled shrimp medium shrimp sandwiches with cajun spicing and fries added. That's $18.50 per sandwich, which was a tiny bit of sticker shock for me when the bill came, as I guess I never really checked the price on the menu. It was another $2.50 each for a handful of fries added. At $18.50, they could stand to include the small portion of fries in the original price. The cajun spice is a delicious rub and actually pretty spicy, so if you don't like spicy be forewarned. I like spicy and found it to be a very satisfying and tasty sandwich. I will be back, though not too frequently at these prices and considering there are limited choices for me. I was also sad to learn they no longer sell the Manhattan clam chowder (just New England), so if you're looking at previous Yelp pics and see the "red" chowder, it's no longer made. I guess the only things keeping me from a 5-star review are the high prices and maybe the fact this isn't really a place where service is of much importance. They take your order and dump off the food. That's about it. There is also no liquor here, but you can bring your own and pay $3.50 to drink it there. If you like regular fish dishes, I would say you will find a lot more to enjoy and order here, especially with the daily specials. So, check it out!

This place has the most delicious clam chowder I've ever had in my life. They created a special calamari salad for me. It also was delicious....grilled calamari steak on a bed of spinach greens along with a vinaigrette dressing.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible from the sidewalk to inside.

This shop is on Huntington and can easily be missed if you don't pay attention. I think I'll start coming here more often. The place is small, but very charming. For dine-in, I'm convinced you just choose a seat and they approach you, but I'm not really sure. The tables already have the menu and you just have to flip it over to see what's available. Fish and chip 5/5: I don't usually like fish and chips, because of the fish, but wow it was so good! The fish was incredibly crispy and I like that they give you a lemon wedge with it. A little squeeze really brightens it up. The fries are thin and have a nice crunch. Oysters 4/5: they're pretty decent oysters! They're smooth and a little bit buttery. I always ask if they have any sweet oysters, just cause I can't stand the brine-y ones. Overall great service and atmosphere! I do feel a little confused when coming here, but it's not bad.

Still just as amazing! Its changed ownerships, however the food is still just as good 15 years later. The food does take about 15 to 20 minutes to get to your table. However, the ingredients are fresh. Quality over quantity. As long as you have patience and are poised, do not expect fast food or low quality meals. Clam chowder rich and hearty. Oysters fresh shucked. Tuna melt is full of fresh white albacore tuna on a crusty dough dough bread toast. They do takeout too, so you can order ahead for no wait. Still my favorite!

Loved the fresh oysters on the half shell, the cook on the shrimp cocktail was just right, and the fish and chips were crunchy and tasty. Did I mention the clam chowder in the bread bowl?! Yum! It was my first time there and I'll be back. Bummer no alcohol.

1 star for the service! Even when they were swamped, the wait staff was still friendly and accommodating. But the food... This salmon plate cost me $26.95 before tax... I also got a cup of chowder for $6.95. Just a cup, not even a bowl. For the TINY sad amount of food I received today, my total was $37 before tips. I want to go to sleep right now but I can't in good conscience because this was the most upsetting highway robbery of a lunch I've had in a long, long time. How does anyone expect to get full off of this, and for $26.95?????? As far as the food goes the chowder was very ordinary with a bit more black pepper than usual. The salmon itself was slightly undercooked in the center (not usually a problem for me, though), and the layer of lemon caper sauce could hardly be tasted. Veggies were a bit under seasoned but it would be passable if the portion was a little heartier. I understand margins are small right now and small businesses may be struggling, but this price point for this portion and quality, it just isn't worth it at all. I won't be back for a loooooooong time.

One of the best seafood restaurants I've been to! Great selection of fish, shrimp, and other seafood. The best fish and chips I have ever tried. Staff is very welcoming and nice.

We loved this spot! We came here for lunch because we wanted to sit outside and there was a nice spot. Make sure your seafood lover if you come here, but they have lots of options. A tuna melt was absolutely delicious and everyone really enjoyed their meals. It was quite busy and slightly understaffed, but everyone was very nice. We don't come to Pasadena often, but if we do, we will come back.
