On a Sunday afternoon in March, my sister wanted to try the Japanese pancakes so came here for lunch. We parked in front on the street. Inside interior looks nice with tables and cute stuff at the counter. The staff seem nice and we got seated right away. The menu was easy to read so I ordered gyudon beef with rice and my sister ordered the original soufflé pancakes. My dish came first and everything was really good. Then the 3 pieces of pancakes arrived and it was fluffy and light after I took a bite. Next time I will try other items. I hope they get more business.

What a nice little cafe. I tried the unagi don here and really enjoyed it. It was served with a hot bowl of miso soup. The piece of unagi was huge. For drinks, I tried the genmai tea with sea salt cheese foam and coconut mango. In my opinion, the genami tea and cheese foam did not make a good combination. I would not get this drink again. However, the coconut mango drink tasted yummy. I loved the sago in it.

Surprisingly the Katsu and Grilled short ribs were pretty good! The Soufflé with Sea Salt cheese foam was my favorite! Make sure to order it ahead coz it takes about 30 mins!

Finally got to try this place. It's a quiet and laid back cafe that serves Japanese style bentos, a few sides, fluffy pancakes (souffles), and great fresh drinks. The bentos are generally a meat choice, salad, rice, and a piece of tamagoyaki. We tried the gyudon (sweet and savory beef with onions), wagyu, short ribs, and the egg curry. All the meat was really tender and had the perfect sauces. The egg curry was really a tornado egg omirice. Curry was satisfying and the egg was perfectly slightly runny. We saw a lot of people come in and order just drinks and I can totally understand why. I had the coconut mango which was fresh and milky with plenty of mango purée and sago. Delicious and refreshing. Husband had the uji matcha mango which was also great. The soufflé pancakes platter was surprisingly huge! With a large helping of cheese fluff cream? Flavor is a mild sweetness that is customary of Asian desserts. These dishes take some time to make so order them early. They arrive warm and totally super fluffy! The decor is very cute and includes various Japanese toys and a plethora of Gundams. Looking forward to my next visit. I love gyudon and find its particularly hard to get so I have to take advantage of this place.

This is a newly open mom and pop place just opened 2 months ago near the corner of San Gabriel Blvd and Huntington Blvd. It's near the Trader Joes. Plentiful parking at the back, entrance thru San Gabriel. When we entered the back door, we are greeted cheerfully by Alan, our server and later on by Jaime, who took our orders. We ordered appetizers: Sweet Corn with Cheese and Chicken Tatsura Age.Main dishes: Green American Wagyu Don and Tonkatsu Pork Curry.Dessert: Souffle with Sea Salt Foam. The Chicken Tatsura Age was crispy on the outside, moist on the inside. Piping hot when served with a sweet chili sauce. The sweet corn has a tang like it has a probiotic taste and added with melting cheese. It was a sweet salty goodness that I can probably just eat these appetizers and done with it.But, I need to check their main course. The wagyu don is very tasty. I did a mouthful of rice with every slice of Wagyu and it is very tender. It came with a small green salad with shoyu vinegar dressing and a Tamago. The Pork Tonkatsu Curry is also delicious. The curry served on the side has the right taste, not salty, not bland. The Pork was crispy outside and tender juicy inside. Dipping the pork into the sauce is a perfect combination. I even tried the curry sauce with the Chicken Tatsura Age appetizer and oh soooo gooood!!!The Souffle is melt in your mouth goodness. Sea salt sauce has the right saltiness in it. It also came with fresh fruits. We took home some smoothie and haven't tried it yet since we got so full from our meal.I highly recommend this place. Please try this place out and I woud guarantee that you won't regret the visit. Servers are very nice, food are delicious, you won't have problem looking for parking unlike other restaurants. I will definitely come back to try their other main dishes and appetizers.Parking: Parking lot at the back of restaurant

Y.our Café is a fantastic all-in-one spot for a quick lunch, offering delicious drinks and desserts. The owner and staff are incredibly friendly, going above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction with their food options. While the menu isn't extensive, everything on it is flavorful and well-prepared. The drinks are made with fresh fruits and ingredients, hitting the spot every time. Their Signature Soufflé is a must-try, though be prepared for a wait of up to 20 minutes as it's made fresh. I'll definitely be returning to enjoy their drinks, food, and desserts, and to support this small restaurant business.Quick tips: The restaurant is conveniently located next to CTBC Bank and USPS, with parking available behind the building.

This place is so good. I love the dumplings and the wagyu and the rice but.. the curry and the tonkastu they just need some more flavor. But other than that I recommend this place.

Food - Japanese and Japanese inspired dishes. The highlight of the cafe is they serve a5 wagyu strain beef! All the courses are balanced with attention to detail. I came with my wife and we ordered the a5 wagyu bento, the short rib bento, crispy chicken, Gyudon,, fries (complimentary), om rice with curry, and uji matcha mango drink, and a coconut mango. A5 Wagyu bento was my favorite with the beef thinly sliced and cooked perfectly to give a rich buttery taste served over rice and green onions and a small salad. Crispy chicken reminds me more of a Taiwanese popcorn chicken served with Thai chili sauce a must add on to your order! The short rib bento was so enriched in flavor that I would even go to say it was super marinated. Each piece making you yearn for the next piece. Miso soup was served at the beginning and good with some green onions. The uji matcha mango drink was perfectly sweet not overly sweet as some shops nearby and had a great refreshing flavor without too much of the not so healthy things you find in places that specialize in drinks. The plan on adding things like Takoyaki and other snacks in the future! Looking forward to coming back and trying them. Parking - a lot directly behind the building and directly adjacent to that lot provides ample parking. Ambiance - lovely, cafe, quick grab and go Service - great and attention to feedback is great. Owners really love their customers and are super happy to hear feedback! I highly recommend this place!

Clean, fresh, and cute neighborhood cafe. We came on a rainy Sunday at noon and waited approximately 15 min for a table. We tried the ribs bento, gyudon bento, and the Katsu curry bento. They all came with soup and salad. The meats were a little on the sweet side for me personally but the kiddo loved it. They were quality meat and overall felt like a healthy balanced meal. It was too cold for us to try any of their drinks since they didn't have any hot drinks. Will add this to the Rolodex of quick bites.

Pretty great cafe! My friend ordered the curry with egg and it was flavorful and very filling. I got the eel dish and they gave out two long pieces which matches the price. We also ordered the watermelon drink and it was very refreshing with sago pieces in it. The cup is also satisfying quite large. The service is great and the food came out fast. Perfect place to grab a quick bite! The soufflé pancake my friend ordered are also very soft like a thick cream and they provide 3 pieces along with fruit. They offer to have it ready by the time you finish eating your main course (they start making it 25 mins after your first dish comes out). Hope they will add more dishes to their menu in the future, but for now I'll definitely be back to get their drinks and curry again.

Cozy and quaint. The staff are very friendly and I enjoyed the meal which was promptly served. Relaxed atmosphere. Something this area needs.

Stopped by on a whim and it did not disappoint! My boyfriend and I ordered the gyu don, chicken katsu curry, French fries, and the avocado smoothie with sea salt cheese foam. Both entrees were served with rice, miso soup, and a side salad. The miso soup was very light + comforting and the side salad had a nice vinegary dressing to it. The gyu don was very tasty, the sauce was so delicious, I could drink it on its own. The fries were perfectly crispy on the outside and fluffy in the inside, trumps my favorite McDonald fries by far. The avocado smoothie reminded me of a Vietnamese avocado smoothie but with a savory twist from the salted cheese foam. Everything we ordered was delicious and we couldn't have asked for anything better. Overall, everything was very tasty and the service was fantastic, we will definitely be back soon to try the Japanese soufflé pancakes!

This place is really good! It is located on Huntington Dr with plenty of parking of street parking and there is also a lot in the back. The restaurant is a cute little spot. We stopped by last Saturday night and were greeted as soon as we walked in. It was not too busy, which was nice because we could choose our table. They brought a highchair right away for my goddaughter and her placemat. We already had an idea of what we would order so we did not spend too much time looking at the menu. They have plenty of menu pics on Yelp, but no menu online unless you click on "order online." I ordered Katsu Chicken, and my boyfriend got the Grilled American Wagyu Don. They both included miso soup (which my goddaughter loved, and it was her first time having miso soup, ever!) and salad. The miso soup and salad were good and so was the salad. I really enjoyed the Katsu Chicken (crispy) and curry. My bf and I also liked the Wagyu. It was very flavorful. Since we checked in on Yelp, we got free fries! We were in a rush so we were not able to order dessert. I have been craving Souffles and theirs look so yummy! We will definitely be back for the Sea Salt Cheese Foam and Matcha Souffles. I will post an update once I do.

Great service and had a great time chatting with the staff! Food is very tasty. Drinks are healthy and they don't serve boba with their drinks...just fresh fruit.
