Absolute gem - thought that they had shut it down / moved, so delighted to find that it's still there, still killing it!
The environment was quiet and private, which made for a comfortable dining experience. Service was attentive without being pushy or overwhelming — something I really appreciated. However, almost all of the dishes tasted quite similar. I usually prefer bold flavors, but even for me, many items came across as overly salty, whether from the seasoning of the ingredients or the sauces themselves. The cod we ordered was even slightly burnt, which was disappointing. For two people, the bill came to over $250. Considering the quality of the ingredients, the value was acceptable, but honestly, the flavors need more refinement.
Enjoyed it tremendously, great staff Josue was our server he was wonderful and very attentive. I had the venison was amazing, will be back again to try other entrees. great place.

Like the flexibility of the hybrid prix fixe menu - first time I saw this. One can choose 3/4/5 items from the food list. The restaurant is inside a (retrofitted) cottage and has an intimate vibe.

great food.
great restaurant!!
Wonderfully inventive menu, which is different every time we go back. Nice wine pairings. Super friendly staff.
My favorite restaurant on the Peninsula. The venison was incredible and the Myer lemon dessert was a perfect ending.

This was an exceptional dinner for the ambiance and the quality of service. The food was a bit uneven. We loved some of the dishes, were not wowed by others, in spite of impeccable presentation. Since they change their menu regularly, these remarks may not be germane to your experience, but the duck was a bit bland (not enough salt if you can believe that it is possible at a restaurant), and so were some items that came with the beef dish (there was a crispy side that was just not eatable and could threaten your teeth). I would give this place another chance. Maybe we should have asked the server for the best dishes on the menu.
Was here for dinner as part of a corporate group. We had a pre fixe dinner and choice of appetizers, entree and dessert. Located in a nondescript portion of el Camino of San Mateo, I was pleasantly surprised at the atmosphere and quality of food at this establishment, which is definitely Michelin worthy. In case there’s any doubt, I would hardly characterize the food as Indian. I went with the seafood route - halibut for appetizer and salmon for main. Artfully presented and full of different flavors, the food was pretty amazing. Will definitely consider coming back. Service was attentive.
Great fine dining experience across the board: food, service, and a unique atmosphere in a small and special space. Highly recommended!
Well, food was delicious, homemade vibes with all the secret sauce. Would go here over and over. Check it out if you like homemade food
Food was delectably delicious. Beautiful presentation; extremely detailed. An explosion of flavors. King salmon was moist, yet crispy outside. Medium rare steak cooked to perfection. Even the French Press coffee was smooth and full of flavor. You just have to try it. Highly recommend!
