This place is my favorite Salvadorian restaurant. I used to go there with my family. But last time I went it was closed. Does anyone knows if they moved or if they closed forever? Thank you

Food is great but the service is horrible. We went on a Sunday Evening and the wait for a table was 30 minutes because no waitress staff to pick up plates so people just sit there after done with meal. Then they all get up to sort the bill and pay individually in large parties. So we paid and ordered to go only to wait longer than a table.and also check you receipt they over charge you.

Loved the pupusas here. They were big, fluffy, not greasy. The curtido was good, too. Swell people who were friendly and helpful Check it out.

Wow the food delicious only took 10 minutes! We ordered the shrimp burrito and the taco meal. Don't let the photo on the wall fool yeah! The taco meal had a lot more rice and beans and little condiments than in the photo. Juicy delicious mouth watering spicy carne asada taco. Would I return? Heck yes!

The yucca & plantain are super good; But the language barrier is a major problema. I ordered the yucca boiled, not fried & I got fried & the young hombre shrugged it off similar to the other review about the menu prices vs. wat they end up charging u; wat really got my goat tho is wen I asked them for hot pepper sauce for my to go order, they put sum tomatoey looking hot sauce in a baggy, kinda weak; & wen I told hombre that I wanted peppa sauce like the bottles on the shelf for off-sale, I got the same shrugging, don't give a sh**! Response; It really peaves mi to no end wen Latino men demean women in this way; the machismo attitude toward las mujeres needs to be corrected so I'm checking all macho men to remember a woman bore u into the world & la Tierra sustains you! Alto degrading women on every level, looks bad on ur business; the women, on the other mano, were quite accommodating esp wen I sighted the peppa sauce I was seeking on their dining room tables!! I just looked over @ the hombre menor admonishingly & shook my head & he left his post & hid in the back.

Best pupusas in the Bay Area! I wish I could give them more stars!

The place sells food from El Salvador and Guatemala and sells medicines from Central America.

Some good Guatemalan food (Salvadoran too). Ate here once a while back, but ordered to go today, Oct 1, 2020. Tried the Guatemalan style chicken tamale, very good, and full sized. Also got some tasty rice and black refried beans. Ordered the hard to find Guatemalan hot corn drink, Atole I think it's called. Ordered it for my mom and she liked it. Also got some other items (Chile relleno plate, plantains with beans and sour cream, pork tamales) but haven't eaten them yet, too full. Look forward to doing so soon. Looks like they finally got some Guatemalan style cookies, champuradas, yay! Got some of them too. Nice little place, (kinda hot inside on a 85-90 degree day). They may only have one cook, so plan to wait (charge your phone ahead of time) or order ahead a while earlier. I was watching their TV, Discovery Chanel en espanol for a short time. Gringos have a harder time ordering, since Spanish is the main language, but still good chow, nice people. Enjoy!

Double check your bill. They are charging more than the menu price. Our bill was more than we expected it to be, when we asked them about the prices they said should've asked first and basically we had to pay. They're response was ‍ "oh well". We ended up paying menu prices but not after arguing with them for a good 5 minutes!
