Such a spacious location, lots of seating indoors and outdoors. Their coffee is impeccable, so silky and smooth, and the matcha is too. The baristas were very friendly and nice, and the drinks came quickly. Also a great location in downtown San Mateo.
Incredibly generous and helpful staff, omotenashi. The winter blend was an excellent suggestion for the colder morning in San Mateo while walking to the park. I enjoy fruit flavors more in my coffee but the silky smoothness, nutty almond like flavor and warming feel of the winter blend is very satisfying.
Food and coffee are great (although still a bit overpriced in my opinion). My biggest problem with this place is the lack of outlets. There isn’t a single outlet in the entire shop. Also the wifi is incredibly slow and unsecured.
