Love this place. Love every bartender there. Great atmosphere, fun people, reasonably priced, just an all around good place. They are also remodeling. They are going to serve food soon. Not sure if it will be at bar that serves food or a restaurant with a full bar?? Two very different businesses. Either way the new owner (of 7+ yrs) and on the younger side) has a great vision and is doing a stand up job with the place. I worked there before, when the original “Bucky” was alive. It was fun then too, but we got away with a lot.. (smoking in the bar and what not) New owner “Dan” is running a stand up business and follows the rules. Anyway check it out. Whether you used to frequent the place or never have, I think you’ll love it too.

What can I say , I found my new local bar!!This place rocks with friendly staff and patrons.Great selection of beers on tap and a real pour on hard liquor. Gwen was working the day I came in and was quick to tell me they are planning on opening a restaurant on location that serves pub grub and I can’t wait . The place is immaculately clean and rustic at the same time. Right now you can bring food in from the many restaurants in the neighborhood. Overall just a great vibe, happy to spend my money here.

Nice neighborhood lounge. Very friendly bartender and people and welcoming. Even has Country Line Dancing on Wednesdays on a nice wood floor in the evening at 7:30 PM with an instructor. Street parking mostly. Didn't eat there so can't comment.

This is the cheers of San Mateo, very friendly, everybody welcome, usually anybody that comes in there and usually becomes friends and they come back, they took the pool table out, so now you can go outside on the patio and that's about it video games.

Newly remodeled. Nice bar with 3 big screen tvs. Open space for band, corn hole, etc. Good size patio with overhang. Friendly staff and patrons.
