I was in the area and stopped by to try it and it did not disappoint. The sandwiches are very fresh and it's a very clean cafe. Great customer service! I can't wait to go back.

For a few years I worked in the same building as the cafe and had the pleasure of enjoying many delicious meals there. The food is fresh and the owners truly care about preparing and offering daily specials, soups along with their yummy salads, wraps, and sandwiches. I have always been treated with warmth and professionalism. In addition, they catered a family party which was delicious; excellent mediterranean dishes! Unfortunately, I don't live or work in the area anymore:-(

We had lunch here on Wednesday. DH eats here weekly but I only make the trip up every few months. I had the chicken kebabs which came with 2 side salads. Kebabs were generously sized and flavorful. Hot and recently off the grill. Fruit salad was made with nicely ripe fruit, which should be obvious but I've gnawed through enough unripe cantaloupe to assure you that ripe fruit is a treat. The Greek salad was well made, correct levels of dressing and a nice tangy feta. DH's burger looked and smelled great - hand made patty grilled to order and very juicy. Let down slightly by fries that had been made in advance. Mom and daughter owners remember DH's favorites, and are friendly and welcoming. We sat on the terrace area as we had the dogs with us, and the owner brought out bowls of water for them once she saw we had company!

Having worked in the complex for almost 3 years, wow time flies, I visit the campus cafe probably once a month. The prices are ok, especially for San Mateo and the food is not bad. The friendliness level ranges from medium to slightly above average which should be expected when their customers are all a bunch of corporate sell outs usually in a hurry. I eat here when I don't have time to walk down to laurelwood and get some fresh air. Usually that means I'm in between calls or waiting for an important one. Some people love the soups, but I like to go with one of 3 sandwiches. 1. Pastrami is awesome 2. The Gyro is good which makes sense from the owners heritage. 3. Cheesesteak. Less greasy spin and tasty. Breakfast is not the cheapest but the quality is good and I always seek out leftovers from company functions.

I love Campus Cafe. I work in an office right across the street and they do ALOT of catering for us. They are my first "go to" when i need to order food for a meeting. Whether breakfast, lunch, or dessert trays, I am always happy with their food and service. Amanda and her mom are great to work with. They are super responsive to my "special" requests and very accomodating.

I had learned my lesson about not ordering from Campus Cafe again after my dismal Roast Beef Sandwich I got last time, but since my boss ordered lunch for a day he wasn't in the office, I ended up with his Teriyaki Chicken Wrap ($7.95, This wrap was super dense, and packed with ingredients, but it was salty and did not taste very good at all. The flavor wasn't like your traditional teriyaki, and all I could taste was the salt. I wouldn't order this again and will not be trying anything further from Campus Cafe, free or not.

Ive been coming to Campus Cafe for years and honestly its always been a pleasure. I love the food and the employees. The mother daughter team is awesome and I always walk in feeling so welcomed. What can I say about Campus Cafe. They are like a family away from home. Been coming to this cafe since being hired at a nearby company, in the same complex. The owner Summer, literally call her "mama", is friendly and hospitable. So is her daughter Amanda. They've always taken care of me, have great food and selection, and always the best conversations in the morning before I go to work. Sara and Augi, who both help at the cafe, are awesome as well. Nothing but hte best things to say.
