0 stars for the cashier today with a terribly poor attitude that management should speak with as there is a significant opportunity to improve her customer service skills and communication style. Based on other reviews, this person is problematic in their behavior towards many others.
3-4 stars for convenience factor, cleanliness, and other staff
I come here every month while waiting for my car wash, and the place is clean, spacious and has a decent variety of snacks. I only get the ice cream from the deep freezer while my kids wait with me
Normally the staff is fine and friendly , but today (10/12, Saturday) there was a barista / cashier who was upset at everything my 5yo did and for simply existing it seemed. She didn't say a word to me as we paid for our items, and minutes later she reprimanded him for moving a stool away from the counter, and complained when he was leaning on the condiment station area. During the second incident, she was so visibly upset over normal kid behavior that I looked her dead in the eye and asked "What is the problem here?".
When we came inside, she was already complaining to a customer couple in Spanish about something. She's maybe 5'6+, Latina with dyed blondish hair and fits the description of staff another person recently wrote a review about. Maybe having a bad day, but she seemed really focused on my kid's behavior which was perfectly normal for his age.
My son wanted chips shortly later and I literally told him "No, sorry, I do not to talk to that woman again so we will buy chips elsewhere" and walked outside to wait for our car wash to complete as I wasn't about to interact with her again.
Suggest the management train their staff and talk to this particular employee about customer service, and adjusting tone when speaking with customers and people in general.
