I am giving a 3 star because when I ordered a bowl. The lady barely filled it with rice. A chunk on the left and a small portion on the left, but nothing in the middle you can see the bottom. The person ahead of me ordered a bowl too and asked for more rice, which I assumed they just wanted more rice for their meal but now I understand. It is because the worker was not filling proper proportions. 13 dollars for barely filled meal, I made my own rice to fill the bowl. That's why I feel like the person just scammed me.

This place is fantastic, with excellent service. I often order online and dine in; the manager is accommodating, allowing me to order at the stand (they typically use another stand exclusively for online orders). The food is consistently delicious, and the ambience is satisfactory.

Terrible. I order Too go here often because it's close to work. Whoever is in the back making the pick up orders is terrible. They through all the left over fat in the bowl everyday when I order steak. Today I ordered carne asada and it was even worse. If you decide to eat there you have to order in person so you can watch what they do to your food otherwise you will not get what you are paying for

Went there this evening for a salad bowl ... the lettuce is so gross all wilted spinach terrible it used to always be made with Romain now you never know what kind of lettuce they're gonna have in there never go back plus their salad bowl are $14 now without guacamole
While I've been many times years ago, I came for the $6 BOORITO promotion. These days, I feel that's the only time that it's worth it to come to Chipotle, even if I'm craving it. This restaurant seems to work efficiently; my order was ready by the time I arrived despite all the traffic that day. I enjoyed the quality of the carne asada and the classic taste of the rest of the ingredients. However, I question whether I even had a salad as I had ordered based on the portioning of the ingredients - I could count on my fingers the number of actual salad leaves at the bottom of the bowl, I definitely received less food than in previous years, and the portioning of the rest of the ingredients was strange. Overall, my order could have used much more vegetables and much less sauce; it was to the point that the bottom of the container got wet enough to moisten my to-go bag.

I went their on my lunch break and I wanted a bowl. I asked for double chicken their pussy asses served up some mediocre ass scoop of chicken that was most definitely not worth the $15 that I payed. They need to stop rationing their food.

It's outrageous how Chipotle couldn't even manage to get our orders right -- and it wasn't even one detail , it was multiple significant modifications to the bowls that they completely missed out on. We checked the labels and they were accurate, no fajita veggies and no beans but somehow they managed to put BOTH in there. This could pose a serious risk to people with allergies and we're lucky that it was just a preference. I'm very disappointed.

Well, stupid me for not checking these 2 start reviews. Ordered online 4 meals and did pickup -- 2 of our 4 orders came out very wrong. One had beans and vegetables specifically NOT wanted, the other had the wrong meat and other wrong salsa. Half of my family could not eat their meals as a result. It was a long trip to drive out there and come back in rush hour traffice. I DEFINITELY WILL NOT BE ORDERING FROM HERE EVER AGAIN.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Had an absolutely delightful meal at the Chipotle in San Mateo! Opted for three chicken tacos - two with a crisp hard shell and one soft, all generously loaded with toppings. The balance of flavors was just right, and the chicken was cooked to perfection. But the real star for me was the side of chips paired with their creamy guacamole - so fresh and addictive! I was also pleasantly surprised by the massive portion sizes, ensuring I left with both a full stomach and a satisfied palate. Definitely looking forward to my next visit. Highly recommend!
