I have eaten at this restaurant for years since 1995. I worked close by so I would go for their lunch buffet at least twice a week. I love Indian food. I have tried many Indian restaurants over the years and this is my favorite, top notch! I have tried most items in their menu a la carte as well when I’ve been there for dinner. Yesterday I visited again since I moved out of the Bay Area and their bengan bharta continues to be my very favorite of all restaurants I’ve tried...
The food is amazing here, but I can only speak for a la carte (not buffet). I have been coming here for years for dinner and takeout and they have the best curries and bengan bhartha. Whole spices, some juicy lamb and chicken; delish!
The lunchtime buffet was good. There was a nice variety of offerings, which would satisfy meat eaters as well as vegetarians. Someone brought to our table freshly prepared naan. We will definitely come back to this restaurant.
