If you are looking for authentic/good South Indian food DO NOT come here. Their chutneys are terrible. The sambar is more like daal. The dosa is average at best. Their filter coffee is watery and unpalatable. Not to mention they don't clean their tables - we came at 10am and the tables were dirty and sticky from the previous day.

Hello, I had lunch at Dosa Express today, but I noticed rat droppings under the seating area. This was very concerning and made me feel uncomfortable. Please look into this immediately for customer safety and cleanliness.”

Food was terrible! We ordered masala dosa and idli Vada . Don’t go by the 5 star reviews . They are definitely fake .

Food wasn't good at all, very pricey. They cooked their food in aluminum pots which aren't good for health at all. We ordered idly and meduvada for appetizer. Idly had some fermented smell. Medu vada was fried in oil, that was smelly, too. Dosa was not good at all. Chutney are not tasty. For two people we ordered three items,.
We spent about $55. Ver pricey and quality of food is not good at all.

Dosa Express was amazing! The owner was friendly and the service was great. We came in for breakfast, and the food was so tasty and reminded us of Kurnool-style flavors that we ended up ordering takeout too. The ghee podi idli was the best I’ve had (even better than Mylapore in Sunnyvale). We also took Gongura rice and Coconut rice to go, and both were delicious. Highly recommend!

I ordered paneer dosa and I got paneer and dosa, no seasoning, nothing. Masala dosa was good.

I felt like the quality of the food has gone down; food is still authentic and I thought it was mediocre for the pricing. I ordered Ghee Podi Idli, it was bit underwhelming. Service was ok .. thought it was bit slow, and yet, there was standard automatic grayuity added .. I thought it was not justified.

It’s a decent South Indian food option in the area; I like food at Mylapore; more authentic.

Great home-style dosa with yummy chutneys- especially the tomato chutney was very good. The sambhar was amazing- reminded me of home- and ghee kharam dosa was flavorful . Filter coffee was good- personally too strong- a splash more of milk would’ve been perfect!

Too expensive, I have been to many Indian places this place has one of the most expensive food and the quantity or the taste fall short , I would not suggest anyone to go there as the dosa's prices are day light robbery for the quantity they give
