Came for a celebratory Saturday dinner, I’ve been to the location in SF, and I have to admit the experience in San Mateo was underwhelming. The meat was cold, chewy, and somewhat overcooked. The waiters were very friendly, but kept coming to our table to offer more meat when our table card was on red (no more food). This is an all-you-can-eat meat restaurant. They bring various types of meat to your table. The style is to go pick up your own salads etc. The atmosphere was good and there were many people celebrating birthdays. The people at the store will cheer you up.
Great meat but also a great experience for vegetarians. We were 2 carnivores and a vegetarian. The vegetarian enjoyed a great salad bar/buffet with fancy cheeses and roasted pineapple. We carnivores dined on beef, pork, chicken, shrimp, and lamb carved at the table off skewers. It's a foodie experience.
