I really enjoyed the coffee and pastries at Estate Coffee. The place had a comfortable atmosphere and seating. They had a the standard coffee drinks and a small selection of pastries.

4/5 for location and ambience: Nice little coffee shop with good ambience. Good seating facing the sidewalk were you can sit and read/work. The barista was friendly and helpful.3/5 for the coffee: I got an oatmilk cappuccino. Decent coffee, but the barista made it so scalding hot that I had to wait atleast 20-30 mins for it to cool down. I’ve never had a cappuccino this scalding hot.

This place has hours that are all over the place. Walked in at 2:01 PM on a Saturday and was told they close at 2:00 PM. Yet their website states they close at 4:00 PM, and Yelp states 3:00 PM. Get it together, Estate Coffee!!

My sister and I are all for supporting local stores, but this is by far not a pleasant experience. The matcha latte tastes like milk. No flavor. my brother in law asked for creamer for his coffee and they said they don't have it. Not sure if this is even a coffee place. A simple cold brew is what most coffee places will serve. They put it on their menu, but they served from a can and directed my sister to a refrigerator in a cold demeanor. Also, I don't believe they like customers here. There is an older lady there is grumpy and gives a really bad tone to people. It really ruined the whole vibe. If you want bad coffee/drinks and someone to give you an attitude, this is the place to be. I felt super uncomfortable being there the whole time and went out with a not so pleasant drink.

Not sure where the excellent reviews are from. Bitter and maybe old beans Worst latte I've had in a while Good concept though- this place has potential as a cute coffee shop but the patrons don't know how to brew coffee/espresso

I want to preface this review by saying I generally feel that 1 star reviews are rarely justified. I know mistakes are made from time to time and that's totally okay. However, for instances where potential health code violations are broken, I feel as though this type of review is needed. It started off as a regular fine coffee shop experience - we ordered 2 drinks and 2 pastries. The barista kindly offered to warm up our pastries, which we accepted. As they went to put the pastries in the toaster both pastries slipped off of the peel and fell straight onto the floor. Without skipping a beat, the barista scooped up the pastries off of the ground WITH the peel and put them in the toaster. Not even a glance back to check and see if we saw. The sheer swiftness and audacity of the act made us question if what we witnessed actually happened. Also, standing there a bit stunned, we noticed a giant dead cockroach on the ground in front of the cash register. If there's a giant dead bug in front-of-house, what is the back-of-house like? Has this peel been used to scoop other things off of various other places? Has the barista done this before, as suggested by the quickness of the move? These questions made us not even want to ask for different pastries. We just didn't want to risk it seeing what we just had. In hindsight, we probably should have asked for a refund, but we just wanted to get out of there. There was also someone that I can only presume was the owner or manager, measuring various parts of the store with a tape measure - going so far as measuring the ground RIGHT behind a customer that was ordering at the register. The customer then almost tripped over said tape measure. As someone who enjoys supporting small local coffee shops all around the bay, I must say that the experience here tops the list as the most bizarre. My intention is not to put this place down, but I wish that they can learn from this experience because no other customers should have whatever they're ingesting be treated like this.

Backhaus patio was all full, so I went here next door to grab a coffee and enjoy my Saturday morning a bit! It's a nice space, and love the high up window -- you can see outside to the street with some privacy. Lots of air and ventilation, this place felt very safe. Cappuccino with almond milk was very foamy!! It's hard to cream almond milk but this place does it right. Coffee is from Equator so you know it's quality.

The dark roast coffee was bitter and i didn't care for the taste. They only have milk for coffee, no half and half creamer. Expensive.

+ Decent coffee. Flavored latte has just the right amount of sweetness, not overly sweet, which is nice.~ Interesting choice of shop style. I almost thought I walked into an apartment rental company…

Came in Saturday morning for a cup of coffee with kids in tow. Was super pleasantly surprised by an unexpected muffin treat for the kids on the house. Thank you - you made our morning bright And the coffee was awesome too!

We tasted the lavender syrup which was mostly sugar with a hint of lavender which you couldn't taste in the lavender latte. I had the vanilla latte which was also tasted like a sugary latte.
