Rated this place five stars because it’s really the best no-nonsense brunch place I’ve been to in the Bay Area. The wait is short, the menu has amazing options, price is reasonable, and the food is of high quality and well presented. Sure, it’s not your typical elevated, extremely instagrammable type of brunch, but I prefer this to long waits and overpriced meals at other places.I’ve tried many of their toasts and croffles and they’re all phenomenal. Other favorites include the Denver omelette and ham&cheese crepe. The lattes are also great, with emerald matcha being my favourite!

Ordered Denver Omelette, crepe and Foreigners favorite, and everything was delicious, all made with fresh ingredients. I would definitely go back and try new plates.

Initially they screwed up our order and we had to wait a long time to finally get the food. But, the owner came out and apologized and refunded us. We wanted to write this review to show our appreciation for him owning it up. We will return in future, thanks!

Eggs Benedict was disappointing and didn’t come with items that the menu states come with it.

First of all, Happy International Women's Day to the owner(s) and the women from Foreigner Cafe. I really like the atmosphere here. It's buzzing inside with people happily enjoying their meals and a chill and relaxing vibe on the outside seating. When I look at the menu, I don't see what is so foreign about their options. Then, I see the self-service area. There, that's your Foreigner Cafe! ? The food quality is amazing too!

One of the better breakfast/brunch places we've tried. The items that we ordered were delicious and tasty....except the nutella crepe, which was nothing different from many other good places. Prices are pretty much similar to many other quality breakfast/brunch restaurants.Great friendly and attentive service from staff.Of note, the displayed items are missing paprika so if you don't want it on, let them know ahead during ordering....ie, the morning breakfast croissant.I enjoyed the infused jasmine tea a lot and would recommend for those that love a great jasmine green tea.We would return if next time in the area.

10/10 our favorite brunch spot! My girlfriend and I come here all the time and it always seems a little better each time. The food is absolutely delicious, especially the California bagel. The staff also do an incredible job and are very friendly. The service is impeccable! We appreciate all the effort they put in to making this establishment magical.

The place is a nice brunch option, haha variety of options to appeal to all tastebuds. It is a bit $$ for what you are getting. My complaint is that the hot beverages are always luke warm even when we requested it to be extra hot. Otherwise its a fun place to meet friends and grab brunch. Please start making your drinks hot no one likes a cold beverage in the am.

Terrible experience here. I ordered the turkey BLT on gluten-free bread and I asked for cheese and bacon on the side. I was splitting this with my mom and we both had different dietary restrictions. A lot of things went wrong.First, it took them 20 mins to bring our food out. Meanwhile, the others in my party got theirs in 5 mins and had finished eating by the time our plate came out. I had to go to the front counter to ask and they told me they couldn't find us. When I got my sandwich it had cheese and bacon in it so I asked them to correct it. The guy at the front was very apologetic and said that they would for sure get it right. After another 10 to 15 minutes and me going up to the counter twice, the sandwich came out again same mistakes except the onions were on the side. Frustrated, I gave up, got a refund left and had to drag my family to another restaurant to have a second lunch. The detour ruined our plans for the day because we didn't have enough time to make it to our destination.BTW, they had this buzzer that you had to place in a specific spot on the table and it either didn't work or they didn't know how to read it on their end. The whole system seemed fraught. Food was delivered to tables no one was at. The young waiter seemed very confused. The restaurant was noisy and the bathroom, which was next door, down a hall, was dirty and cold.I had high expectations when I walked in. The place looked trendy, they had gluten free options, the food looked good, and portions were big. It just was not meant to be for me. But other people's food looked great and my party enjoyed their lunches.
