Ordered for pick up and this was my first time to this tea shop. Cute little whole in the wall type of shop. They are actually open late which is super convenient and you actually have to park and walk down past the barricade on B street to get to the shop. Friendly staff when I walked in to pick up my order. The vibes are nice in there and they also have a self serve machine. They have some cute decorations and the cups are super cool, original and authentic. Their tea is freaking DELICIOUS! Will call this place my spot when ever I'm here in San Mateo. ?

This place has the worst service. I ordered food and milk tea last night,1. the snack took very long 20 minute to come out2. when I asked if it were ready, the cashier threw the cup in front of me, as if I pissed her off3. There were 2 people, I asked for another chopsticks, she only pointed the fork but did not give me another one.I would never go there because there were no service provided at their place. I feel I need to please their cashier in order to get the food.

They claimed they are using real sugarcane but from the taste obviously it's not. 0 star for 8 oz of sugarcane concentrate drink that costs $8.5

My family and I came here on recommendation from another friend that loves Boba. Parking sucks! My family and I were driving in three separate cars, since we just came from dim sum in Millbrae, and trying to find a spot with all of us in the same area was ridiculous on a Sunday afternoon afternoon! Nevertheless, the GPS did not tell us that half of the street on "B St. was closed for the public to walk and kind of like the Covid times, where everything is set up for businesses to eat outdoors. I really like that idea of eating outdoors, but I wish the GPS had updated their system telling us there was no parking. Lol. Once inside the café, everything was so cute and organized. I really liked it! It was a long rectangular restaurant that went all the way back and they even had an upstairs area with a loft that overlooked the register area that we were sitting in below. Since we had a rather large party, we sat outside, and there were at least four tables with chairs all the way around for everybody to sit in. The restaurant next-door seems to be under a change of ownership, so my nephews were able to ply freeze dance in a designated area without bothering anybody. Lol the Boba itself tasted delicious. I got the T8-I think it was with passionfruit and Boba and it was delicious! I always do my Boba without sugar and light ice because I really want to taste the green tea and I figure Boba is already sweet anyways. There was a little bit of a lemon/lime citrus flavor in the Boba itself, which I also loved!! My boyfriend got an easy green tea with just Boba in it and it had this cool drink carrier with a dragon around the top! It was so pretty my nephews always wish they had one too! Lol as their orders came up, each one of them had a cool dragon drink carrier, and they were so proud of their Taiwanese, Chinese, Filipino heritage! I will definitely be back here again to try more of their drinks!! Hee

Got the Mango Milk Tea drink with little mango chunks in it. Paid $8 for such a small sized drink with a ton of ice in it. The drink itself was largely flavorless and watery to begin with. Not worth it at all. Save yourself the frustration and go to one of the other twenty boba shops in the

Not friendly service. Had a question and the lady treated me like she doesn't need my business and she was annoyed that I had a couple of question. Needless to say I left, bougth a drink across the street where the service was excellent and the drink was so good.

We stopped by recently at around ~8:30 PM, and it was super busy, way busier than I expected for a late night boba stop. Service was still pretty fast though, which I appreciated. I got the black milk tea with boba, and the tea itself was fantastic. Sugar levels were perfect at 50%, and the tea flavor really shown through. Good balance of milkiness, but the tea certainly leaves a lingering flavor in the mouth, which I really enjoy. The pearls were pretty chewy which I enjoy, but felt a bit stale. The middle of the pearls were a bit too hard. Overall, really enjoyed it! One heads up though, there's an option to scan a QR code to buy your drink in-store, but doing so randomly adds a 1 dollar service fee which you don't get if you pay at the register or at the screen.

Got the taro highland barley milk tea and idk what TF highland barley is but it has changed my life. I can't go back to just plain boba, I'm gonna need those mouth popping grains moving forward in all my drinks.

Heere Tea was delicious! We drove down to San Mateo to get sushi, and afterwards we wanted to get some Boba. I got the fruit tea and my partner got the Devil Wuwu milk tea. Both were delicious! The wait time wasn't long and they had a tablet for inputting orders alongside staff directly taking customers. It looks like Heere Tea is cat themed (which is always a bonus in my book). They also had adequate seating for people who wanted to enjoy their Boba in house. I liked the set up, and the decorations were nice (aka lots of cute cat illustrations lol). I will definitely go here again!

I've always been excited to try Heere Tea because of how cozy and well done the interior of the store is and it's always packed during prime hours. My past couple visits here I came away a bit whelmed every time. Plus with there being a very high amount of boba shops available in downtown San Mateo there is plenty of competition. The service is solid, but in my experiences the drinks just come out way too slowly even when it doesn't seem super busy. There is non contact ordering, but it gets a little cramped when waiting inside to order or waiting for your drinks. My most recent visits I got the Salted Cheese Shizuoka Matcha ($6) and Oat Highland Barley Milk Tea ($6.50). Both just didn't meet my expectations as the matcha didn't have a strong matcha flavor and was more sugary. This is also a weird complaint, but I also dislike the type of ice they use and reminds me of ice you'd get at a Sonics. The salted cheese foam is solid though. The Oat Highland Barley Milk Tea was a little strange because of the toppings that come with it and the oat part it felt like I was drinking milk tea with oatmeal and the texture was a bit unpleasant. The tea; however, was good and you can taste the tea flavor at least. Sadly, as cute as this store is I just can't envision being a regular here with so many good options nearby.
