The manager denies services to customers

This was my first time sitting in to eat at this place. I had previously ordered takeout here and actually enjoyed the food, so I assumed the service would be great in person as well. Unfortunately, that was the furthest from our reality. Our server, an elderly White woman did not greet us. In fact, she threw our menus at us and while serving our waters, just slid it towards us aggressively. While ordering, she looked distracted and did not even look at us. We were not done with our order, but she walked away to deal with another customer. When trying to tell her I was not finished with my order and I wanted to add something else, she rolled her eyes and said it’s automatic.
When she bought the food out, she threw it down on the table. She got my order wrong and I informed her of that. She said I did order that and shrugged her shoulders. She then asked what I wanted and said she could get a new one without the meat.
I’ve never felt so disrespected and neglected in my entire life. The rest of the staff were polite and very helpful, so I don’t want to attribute her service to the rest of the staff. She should consider retiring or working somewhere else as her customer service skills are nonexistent.

I would always drive by this place and decided to finally try it and am thrilled I did. The fluffy butter and English muffins were my favorite. I loved that all the condiments, like jam, are right in front of you, so there’s no need to ask. You seat yourself, and the staff is very friendly.
The portions are generous, and the hashbrowns were tasty without needing extra salt. The eggs were perfectly cooked, and the place itself has a nice Southern comfort style. I enjoyed sitting at the bar-style table where you can see the cooks – it adds to the experience.
It isn’t super tidy, but that adds to the homey diner feel. I was impressed that although busy at lunchtime, the small staff kept everything running smoothly without feeling rushed. The décor is a bit old-fashioned, but it suits the cozy vibe. Lastly the pie was delicious – tasted just like the homemade kind you would want with a flaky and juicy texture. I’ll definitely be back!

I love the simplicity of this restaurant. It feels like you have stepped back in time a few decades. Good burgers, great place for breakfast and the best pies around. Service will a smile which is very rare nowadays.

This place had a cafe diner like feel when you walk in small town. We had the shrimp, louie and the fish and chips. We would compare the fish and chips to something similar to gordon ramsay's fish and chips in las vegas. If that's a reference to anyone. The batter is not too thick and they give you plenty of tartar sauce and they have Malt vinegar too. The shrimp louie was fresh and the salad underneath was fresh too.
The waitresses were very friendly in a kind of no.B.S sort of way. We sat near the entrance way which we found out, got a lot of traffic from people coming in and out, picking up pies. If you don't want to feel the riff raff of constant opening door from patriots, then sit deeper inside the restaurant.
We also had multiple pies here, and they were generally all delicious. Definitely tastes different compared to Nation's. For example, if you get the pumpkin pie here, it will have more of a brown sugar taste sweeter. Nations taste more pumpkin. I personally like the banana pie the most. If you're not a banana person, then obviously don't get this one.
This place would've got five stars from us if it wasn't for the soup that came with the fish and chips. It gave my wife food poisoning, because we both shared each other's food, but I didn't drink the soup. Obviously it was spoiled.
Overall, a great small restaurant place that is definitely known for their pies more than anything. We came back multiple times just for the pie.

When you order for delivery, you get no salt, no pepper, no butter or syrup, no forks or knives. The French toast tastes like nothing without butter and syrup. There isn't any sugar or vanilla in the custard. It just bread dipped in salty eggs. Complete waste of money.
