Limited flavors with one of a kind names. The taste was not good. Too sweet to our likings. The price was on the expensive side. Staff service was just average.

Staff abuses customers
The ice cream flavors collection is not good. I tried two ice cream flavors for tasting. Lavender crumble and lemon pie. Both ice cream has overpowering flavors. When I decided to not go forward with my order because ice cream tasted not good, he abused me verbally. Very rude staff. They need to work on their staff behavior as well as ice cream.

Went at 5:30pm on Thursday, May 2. The young man at the counter had a horrible attitude and clearly wanted to get back to not working. We love Humphrey Slocombe, and have been visiting multiple locations for many years... The service was so poor on this day, and the guy absolutely didn't want to sell any ice cream, so we decided to leave and get our ice cream elsewhere.

Love the ice cream, but as someone who grew up in the ice cream business, there are likely issues to attend to regarding both line level staffing and the store management level above them.

Friendly staff. The ice cream is a bit on the sweeter side. Love that they now have a location outside of SF.

Below average ice cream, limited flavors, waffle cones meh. I’d skip it given how expensive it is.

Hmm. It just a no for me. 2 people one sitting on counter. other leaning. One volunteer themselves to scoop,but other told him not to and for me 2 get it from the fridge. $23.00 for 2 pints and both taste like they have been sitting. I'll go back to yogurt place. P.S. no parking and no the person did not get up off the counter and yes touching feet with flip flops on..

Used to stop by after dog walk; Recently saw sign 'no pets'.The ice cream is OK, but probably won't go anymore since inconvenient.

Great new ice cream joint

Nice new ice cream place, interesting flavors, some with alcohol in them, really nice spot for a sunny day. They need to improve their customer service tho, I can’t tell if they are rude or if they are just new, but will be good if they can be friendly, specially with kids. I already went three times and the only person who gave me a nice service was the guy, friendly. Other than that is a good place.

Humphrey Slocombe Bay Meadows officially opens today (March 29) and is offering free scoops to customers between 1-7pm as part of its Grand Opening festivities!I was lucky enough to visit a couple days ago as part of a soft opening event and had a great experience sampling a float and several of their flavors before getting myself a decadent double scoop of their Brown Sugar and Rosé All Day flavors topped with Bourbon Caramel. So good! They have 12 creative flavors available under the glass including their well known staples like Secret Breakfast and Vietnamese Coffee.I've been to a couple of their other locations before and love having this new one here in the neighborhood. It's a small shop so there's very limited seating and parking in the area.
