I was just getting gas, so I figured I’d give it a try too. I mean, if it’s good after a bite, I’d say it’s gas that’s fueling my day. Definitely a great pit stop option after you hop off the freeway.
The 8 piece dark meat was delicious the biscuit was delicious even though they should carry the blueberry biscuit one as well. This particular store doesn't carry tha lot of other items that other stores carry. so that's to bad!! Now the reason for the 3 stars is cause the red beans and rice were disgusting! It literally was all white rice there were a tiny bit of beans that I mixed up and it basically did nothing cauae it was 90% white rice and 10% red beans. Horrible...
Located inside the gas station, KKC is a decent option for fried chicken. This location was clean and the staff were super nice. The chicken and sides themselves were just alright. Definitely Krispy and Krunchy, but missing the moistness and seasoning you find in other Cajun fried chicken. Still better than KFC though. The sides were all a little under seasoned. Parking was easy and you can fill up on gas at the same time.
