Excellent Caesar Salad and breaded pork loin with a side of pasta made for a wonderful dinner. Profiteroles and the Duo Crema Bruciata Sampler of two crème brûlée desserts were a great end to a wonderful evening. It takes a while for the dishes to come out, but the wait is worth it. Superb service from our waiter, Hector. Highly recommended for great food. Bravo!

We always enjoy our time together at La Lanterna. Welcoming and cozy with perfect lighting. The meals are consistently made. When you go for your favorite meal, it will be just what you remember and have enjoyed.

What a pleasant surprise to walk in to the cool elegant setting from the busy bright street outside. Quiet. Unobtrusive skillful service. Fresh, tasty food. Lunch that is a real break in the day. We left filling refreshed!

We love Lalanterna. We celebrated New Years Eve with our best friends there. The service is great. The food is delicious. We were able to take our time enjoying ourselves. The menu has something for everyone. I had the filet of sole. It was plentiful and so hot in temperature. Loved it.

We always have a great time! Because they were shorthanded it was a little slower but we didn't mind! The wait staff was great! Had out-of-town guests and they thought it was great.

Service was slow. Too much sauce on the abalone steak. Informed waiter at the beginning of our meal that one member in our party was celebrating a birthday. Bill came and never an acknowledgement of a birthday.

Three of us went for Thanksgiving. It couldn't have been better. The food was wonderful and they did not rush us. We are thinking about going back every year.

Fantastic little restaurant - great food and wine. And the service was nothing short of gracious.

Quiet restaurant with an extensive menu. My sister loved the chicken parm. She said everything about it was perfect. I had a salad with crab cakes that was delicious. I liked it so much I asked friends to join me there next week.

A neighborhood restaurant whose ambiance, food, and service is favorite. Specials and desserts ate always a treat.

We were put in a back room where we were forgotten. I finally went out to get service. The service was much better after that. I ordered cannelloni which was cold. I sent it back and received a new portion. No apology. The excuse was somebody new in the kitchen. You should never point a finger to a fellow employee when something like this occurs. The server represents the restaurant. He should have apologized and correct the problem. The meal should have been comped or a dessert offered. Neither was done. We have been at this restaurant many times before and was disappointed this time.

The place was busy when we went on a Friday night. We shared a tasty spinach salad and then I had the meatballs. My partner had the delicious risotto special which was topped with rock cod. The meatballs were very good. We also shared a great lemon tart for dessert. We plan to return soon!
