This location is no longer open. Unfortunately, it closed due to the pandemic.

Very good food, friendly service. Love their green onion pancake, beef noodle soup, tea smoked duck, and spicy stir fried cabbage.

Ordered cold noodles delivery, huge portions! The noodles are chewy with plenty of cucumbers, minced meat. Really appreciate that sauce was packed separately, the flavor is spot on but a bit on the salty side.

We must go to Little Sichuan restaurant at least once a month, love the Hunan Smoked Pork dish and many of there other dishes. We have a tendency to order from the Sichuan dishes side of the menu. We have taken many of our family and friends here. Would recommend this restaurant when looking for something to eat in San Mateo.

Downtown San Mateo is the best place to be when you are hungry. There are many restaurant selections, from cheat eats to fine dining, the hardest task would be to pick just one. After walking around, we settled at Little Sichuan; a quiet place compared to other restaurants in the area. As you enter, you're greeted by a handwritten secret menu in Chinese with no translation. This is how you know the place is legit. If you can overlook the decor and the typical service, you will be rewarded with good food with traditional flavors.

Terrible place , on this time of COVID prevention I don’t recommend this place, bathroom was not clean, even though anybody was there , so we decided not order or eat there.

My boyfriend had a stomachache after ate their food. Shocking service and poor quality of food.

Extremely aweful! They used really cheap pickles instead of fresh vegetables to cook. Nothing like what was shown on their picture. Noodles are sweet.

My wife is from Shenzhen and this is her favorite authentic Chinese food place. Take note of covid hours now... 1130am to 3pm, 5pm to 830pm. 7 days a week. Enjoy

YUMMY FOR MY TUMMY Authentic high quality food. Great comfort food during lockdown and will continue to enjoy the awesome food. Mushu shrimp, spicy fish soup, hand pulled noodle are a must. Enjoy.

My go to place for the spicy cold noodles, and their beijing chao bing. Consistently good taste and portions are big.

First of all, we didn't plan to come to this place. We were looking for a sushi spot but they were all full and wait is too long. When we came in, the host looked confused when I said dine in for 3. There were only 2 tables occupied. We were seated to a spot where we can see the people in the kitchen. One of the guy who prepares the food takes out his masks every time he's in the kitchen and puts it back when comes out with his mouth only covered!!! WTH? Another annoying part was one of the tables they probably know the workers, the customer just went straight to the kitchen and took to go boxes with NO MASK ON! He went straight from his table so I am pretty sure he did not even wash his hands as he was touching stuff in the kitchen! Some of the utensils given to us were dirty My husband also ask for cup of ice for the room temperature soda he ordered, and the lady said "they are out of ice". OMG! I didn't joy a bit of our dinner, we never finished the food and promised to never come back.
